Because i was THRILLED with the trade, i'm more than happy with him doing what he did, because the franchise needed it.

the hypocrisy never ends...the same ones killing Deshaun Watson would be on hush mouth if a star was forcing their way out and wanted to come to Houston...matter of fact, they’d be on here concocting trade proposals for the guy...it’s all a bunch of selective outrage

If Harden trusted Morey, he would've supported him. Tilman is one reason we're in the mess. Harden is the other.

I wonder how Harden fanboys will spin this now that he admitted it. I got into many arguments because I said thts what he was doing and basically got called a hater troll and bitter. Wonder what they have to say now.

There is a huge difference here on the whole 'Wishing for success' thing though.

If Watt goes to the Packers and wins a ring it literally doesn't affect the Texans unless the Texans were to go to the Superbowl and played against him.

Harden winning DIRECTLY affects the Rockets. It sends over a bad pick.

So there is a HUGE difference. No actual Rocket fan is hoping Harden wins because it directly hurts the team. Only Harden fans...well, people that put their fanhood of Harden before the Rockets would hope Harden wins in order to show the Rockets up despite it actually hurting the Rockets.

Also, Watt didn't quit on the team. He didn't quit midseason on the team and demand a trade. He did the exact opposite and he worked with the texans to get his release.

The situation between Watt and Harden are VASTLY different and yes, when it comes to legacy in this town, Watt will get a lot more respect and admiration because of how he left.

    Right.

Calvin Murphy said he quit and people attacked him.

EGO said even that it was clear at the start he wasn't into it.

So many of the Harden guys denied that but it was clear watching the dude put up a paltry 15 and throwing terrible lazy passes everywhere that he was playing his way out of town.

Watt did quit on the team, he left while he was still on contract like harden. Just b/c he waited until the end of the season doesn't mean he didn't quit. Watt is the team captain on a defense, and he just left once he saw that we aren't winning. Just because he sent a video showing his "sincerity" doesn't change the fact that he left when we are sht. Watt is the heart and soul of the defense, and he just leaves and u think it doesn't affect us?

At least harden left us with something.

I rather we get disrepected and get something in return, than just Watt's heartfelt feelings. Texans didn't get any asset in return, how the fk we supposed to get better when a tradeable assets gets to leave?

U can spin it however u like, fact stand Watt left us when he signed a contract, cause HE GAVE UP ON THE TEXANS.

btw im on the side that Hall of Fame players deserve to quit shtty franchise to get a ring, im just pointing out the hypocrisy of u and other fans like u who only got mad at harden.

Harden got assets because he was still an eliet player. Watt is a rotational dlineman that would be lucky to get a 3rd round pick for.

Watt played out every game of the season with as much as he could give. Harden didn't.

Watt worked with the team for a release, if they wanted to trade him, they could have...but Watt built goodwill with the owner of the team that they wanted to send him to a place he wanted to go. That's always been the goal of the Texans.

The one spinning is you. Watt didn't quit midseason (Fact) The Texans WANTED to move on from Watt (Fact).

These are TWO HUGE differences between the situations. The latter is important because the Rockets WANTED to keep Harden. Watt didn't have a future here, the fact he didn't net any assets is due to the fact that he's past his prime and can't be the DPOY player anymore.

Dude Watt quit. He had enough of Easterby & Cal. Don’t kid yourself. He knows Deshaun is gone. Watt gave up.

Really? Is he play like he was in Houston so far n Brooklyn? He seems fine with the lesser role . Maybe he was sick of having no shot at a ring here.

This season wasn't going anywhere after mda and Murray left.

Now the "all or nothing" whiners are complaining about Harden...Classic!

If that's your argument than how he plays on Brooklyn looks like he quit too. Gave dude's the rock here like how he does in Brooklyn and well.....Im sorry but they are not at the level of KD and Kyrie. And...honestly Joe Harris is better(or more valuable) than everyone on our roster except Woods.....and maybe Gordon.
