Harden and Paul should not have flopped in the second half

    Bottom line, status quo:

    1) Rockets will not get those Harden contact calls in the playoffs, ESPECIALLY against a NBA public relations cash cow like the Warriors.
    2) MDA will make no offensive set adjustments. (Barkley is dead-on here)

The current bottom line does not favor the Rockets.

I can't help but think that a spot-minutes Melo could have helped in a halfcourt post-up set when the 3s aren't falling... but then hiding him on defense may offset any gains on the other end.

And if the Rockets continue to be on the skinny end of the rebounding deficit, this series will end with a lot of rancor and dissatisfaction in Houston.

Do we REALLY have to hope for higher 3-point conversion rate as the deciding factor?

Well last year it happened in game 7 , so what can you really do about it ? Replay the game lol ?

This time , if the public acknowledged we were getting screwed from game 1 , it does make it harden for the refs to blatantly **** us again

Melo? Really dude? May have offset? Melo would have brought negative gains on both offense and defense. I can’t believe his name just got mentioned.

we have to hope that the officiating isn’t as 1 sided as it was in game 1, make more shots, have people like Capela show up, and rebound better

They tried it with Iso Joe last year... why not look to a guy who's still a legend from midrange? It's all hypothetical anyway...

Game 7 last year should have meant that this series would be a focus for the NBA to get right.

Instead...same stuff. In some cases, more blatant.

I really hate how Harden seems to always leave it in the hands of people that are not trying to help him. Harden makes enough uncontested shots to not need this trash ass refs to win.. Just go out and dominate and if they call the foul, they call it..

Think about that real hard in practical terms. We have all heard this and it makes no sense. In past years Harden drove to get the foul, instead he uses the floater more. Harden created the step back to limit contact on D and get a better shot. What is the man supposed to do? Stop playing because ALL of the f**kwad media and refs don't like his style or Houston. F em all. At least this time, all of the fans know the Rockets ORGANIZATION is laying it all out there. As fans all we can ask is that all times, our team and organization did EVERYTHING THEY COULD. The Warriors want the Rockets to stop shooting 3s or go to the basket and shoot long 2s because it makes them predictable, ruins spacing. That is why the Warriors laughed in Game 7 and this one around the basket because they knew it was rigged. You can be the hammer or the nail, pick one.
