Harden played well last night and didn't force shots except at the end of qtrs. His defense was the most impressive but that's one game out of 8 with effort on D. Howard is beasting under the basket every game. It's not his on court effort that pissed me off. It's his careless attitude off the field. Have seen several times he joked around on the bench while Kobe was trying to revive the team when LA were losing last season. He also ignored coaches during timeouts many times during his orlando days. And for gods sake, in his nearly 10 years of NBA carear, he's never bothered to improve his fts? Practice 200 fts a day is not that hard and it would get your muscle memory down sooner than you think.
LA weren't going nowhere. he carried ORL to the finals. how many FT's to you think he practices in 1 day?
Nice GIF edit there. Way to take out the part of that highlight where Howard and Lin slap hands (which is the universal sports term for "good job bro"). Some of you posters should write reality TV. You are obviously very good at editing video to create dramatic television for viewers who can't think for themselves. Please NOBODY buy into this BS. Go back and watch the end of game footage. This here just proves the kind of scum we have filling up the GARM nowadays that get off on manipulating people for dramatic affect.
damn nice to have someone making excuse for you when you get paid $20+mill a year. Did he get paid last year? If yes it doesn't matter if he thought LA was going nowhere. Yea he went to the final and I've never doubt his talent and effort on court. Not taking away what he had done but there was no high flyers in the east conference then that could compete with him. Oh and I have no idea how many he practices a day. Please enlighten me. I'll eat crow if he practices more than 200 shots.
Can you find a full clip? I just found this online, but I'm not sure how any teammate can jog back to the huddle emotionless after J Lin made clinching layup.
I took a screen shot, but having trouble embedding it without coming from the internet. If you have NBALP its at the 3 hour 44 minute, and 31 second mark. Pretty clear as day to see. Please take this BS GIF down.
It just makes me sick to my stomach when people like u start dividing this team just after 8 games...parsons played through spasms, hardeen played even when he is sick and banged up from all da sides..howard played his heart out...hardeen and howard are not playing for contracts and they can sit out every time they are sick or sore....I know lin had a awesome game and im happy for him and I hope he keeps doing that, cos I love my rockets...u dont have to hate others cos of lin with ur stupid thread....

OP couldn't be more wrong about his individual stats theory. D12 and Harden are experienced enough to understand winning is everything and all other individual accolades will follow. D12 gave up more money to be here as he understood Houston gave him the best chance to him. Harden has just not been healthy enough to play well both sides of the ball, especially defense. Still, if both players seem to want the ball is because they know they provide (most often than not) the team's best chance of winning a game. It is not at all about being selfish.
both of there body language towards the end of games sometimes comes off like they don't care and only play hard when they want and if that's the case this team is not going to go anywhere u have to want to win everyday you cant just get up for the Heat one game and then not try the next game cause its against the Bobcats
Both very talented players but I honestly think there's huge question marks over whether they are true winners. Don't get me wrong, I think every player wants to win, who doesn't? It's just that real winners put the team above their own selfish needs, if required to do so, and I'm not sure either would. Harden is trying too hard at times to justify his max contract and padding his stats and Howard just doesn't seem to possess the hard-nosed competitive streak that players who have won championships possess. I could be wrong but that's how I see it at the moment.
Kakaman, pretty wack, Dude. I just watched it on both the Houston and Toronto feeds (ballstreams). You should flat-out eat your words to show that you care about the truth. It's almost looking like some LOFers out there are plain fabricating stuff.
If Harden improves his D (that's defense, not diva) he will be a superstar. He just needs to commit to it. Howard needs to commit to improving his FTs and his post game. Harden already has strong offensive skills and Howard already has strong defensive skills. Its a long process and I hope they both succeed.
