I wonder how would Dwight ever win a championship. He's got low efficient post moves which usually end up as turnovers or bricked free throws and he becomes a huge liability near the end of every close game bricking free throw after free throw. How are we ever going to come out of the western conference?

Whats more mind boggling about this thread is that this comes the morning after a game where we saw the highest paid player on the opposing team jack up THIRTY SEVEN contested shots in one game.... most of all came from isolation plays without even a pick.

    Harden - 19 shots
    Howard - 12 shots
    Lin- 17 shots
    Parsons- 16 shots

And this is with an additional 10 minutes of playing time as well... Yeah... THESE are the two stars that dont trust their teammates and only care about stats.

Howard-------1 FGA in the whole 2nd half and 2 OTs .

No matter how you put it, something was seriously wrong.

Lin and Harden took turn iso'ing no post up existed for Howard because he can't make freethrows down the stretch it's that simple

In that case, Harden should be given a rest. Why keep on playing him so much?

Also they had a zone that blitzed Howard on the post almost immediately, completely taking him out of the game.

I was thinking maybe Howard should shoot FTs with his left hand. I actually pity him having to step up to the execution line.

    bingo

The only way you can deny his effort is to believe the super man thing and think he is so vastly physically superior to all other NBA big men that he can do it without playing hard. That just isn't true.

Memphis had three guys just almost as athletic as him pounding the inside and he was still fighting hard. Watch the games with an open mind.

But that's like the opposite of confirmation bias!

lol it's sad that to critisize players there has to be a disclaimer whether you're Lin fan or not. I've never like Howard with his careless atititude even when he was in Orlando. Harden is also lazy sometimes but I believe he cares about winning much more than Howard does. But really our role players' effort blew theirs out of the water.

AB and PB. srsly AB is underused imo. He could be trainwreck sometimes but he's always aggressive and put in 100% effort.

The thing is, Howard is all about him

You can see that after Jeremy iced the game, T Jones was so excited for him, but Dwight didn't give a damn. He's probably thinking how can he get Jameer Nelson now that Lin is playing so well.

Both were major contributing members of nba finals teams, I disagree.
