That does look like Lawson, but maybe he was just participating. He seemed to be well liked by guys, so they could've invited him. This was in Vegas, right? Could've just hooked up with the guys for a workout.

All that egg-tossing out there, it'll come out into a nice omelette

Football drills definitely helps with agility. Personal account way back when I played football, in b-ball I'd be BACKPEDALING down the court on D (like a defensive back) FASTER than the guys running FORWARD. I dont think it provided much advantage lol, just to say the footwork had me noticably more NIMBLE.

If anything it can help for SWITCHING defense in today's NBA. Or if nothing else can help track down loose balls quicker, can be a couple extra possesions a game just quickness and fitness alone
