Who cares? Look at the Finals, the Rox need a better roster to compete at the championship level no matter who they trade or release. This is just hear say.

 

If this is true, it's a good reason why Ariza needs to stay. We need guys like him, Bev, and Nene who aren't too afraid of Harden to confront him.

 

Dude, it's a story with no proof from swyyyguy. This should be taken with the biggest grain of salt. Even if Ariza does get traded, it would still be foolish to be believe that it was because of some fight with Harden. If Ryno can't be dumped onto another team, then Ariza and Lou are pretty much next in line to try and be moved for cap space.

How does a verbal fight cost you to basically throw a win or go home game against a team minus their star? You don't just get blown off the court by a bunch of role players b/c you got in a shouting match with your teammate the night before. If that's the case, he purposely played like that and you can't keep a player would do such a thing.

Bad news if true. Just adds to a long list of reasons why Harden will never be the leader of a championship team.

Ariza is a team leader and a vet. I bet he was talking to Harden about his poor play in OT and Harden couldn't handle the criticism. I'll take Ariza's side over Harden's any day. Ariza is a champion and has never had issues with teammates. I believe Ariza was trying to do the right thing and motivate Harden, but Harden is too mentally fragile so it backfired. I partially blame Murray for coddling Harden and allowing him to do whatever he wants. Murray spoiled Harden and now we are seeing the result, a guy who runs away and quits whenever things aren't going his way.

 

Whether or not this is true, I still maintain that something happened behind the scenes that led to Harden's weird Game 6. He's simply too good a player to collapse that much.

The big issue, though, isn't what happened behind the scenes. It's this: What kind of team leader allows ANYTHING to cause such a poor performance in the biggest game of the season, on your home court? Regardless of the reason for his abysmal showing in that game, Harden needs to toughen up mentally or we're going to be frustrated in the playoffs every damn year.

 

This team will never win anything with Harden as #1 option. Go pay attention the the real elite team in Houston, the Astros.
