Harden and Ariza got into a fight after game 5, hence Harden's game 6 performance.

Unfortunately, doesn't surprise me at all... I was saying right after game 6 that I figured James got called out after he gave away game 5... he got all butthurt and decided screw y'all I aint even gonna shoot then - hence the 0 shots and 0 rebounds through the first quarter and half.. I've maintained that opinion despite getting crap from various posters who want to bury their heads in the sand and deny the flaws of James Harden...

Obviously Hayward is the pipe dream to replace Ariza... but I dont see it happening...

I just hope we are looking at getting a banger for downlow....

I really hope that the "other key player" isn't Pat... But, a starting line-up with Harden, Gordon and Hayward isn't the worst thing in the world. Throw in a S&T of Ryno for Ibaka and that staring line-up is pretty legit. Not enough to get pass GSW, but it's a solid starting 5.

Everyone is waiting for CP3... The Rockets are looking to take advantage of what's happening in Clipperville

Lou, Ariza and Bev are the cost of that trade. Even IF it just cost Bev and Ariza + cap space... i dont trust CP3 it's not worth it. That dude has proven that he can't get it done. CP3 only adds to the problem.

So Trev found some courage... so now all we need is some brains and heart.... which we obviously have some deficiencies in those areas... ;)

They aren't interested in CP3 but the fall out with the rest of the pieces on the Clipper roster.

So it's BG. I'd be really cool with that.

JJ would be nice coming off our bench. Though I guess he is technically not a clipper anymore.

hes about to get a big raise for his last contract as a respectable contributor. come here as a 9th man off the bench and significant pay cut? don't see that happening at all

Sounds to me like DeAndre Jordan. Ariza/Capela?

That goes back to @Nook's idea for DAJ and then Gallo in FA.

My guess is we are one of the few buyers on the Carmelo potential market. Ariza has Phil Jackson ties, 3andD guy, ideal for triangle. Don´t know the numbers, but I could make out some kind of PR move to sell Ryno+Ariza to "unload" Carmelo, I could even see the NY headlines with an All 3 pointer 5 with KP+Ryno+Ariza+Galloway/Courtney Lee+Draft Pick

I believe it. That game 6 was so off. That wasn't just a bad game.

Trev wants the ball more?? He gets it plenty with 2 seconds on the clock.

In all honesty that's how long he should have it anyways. His dribbling and decision making with the ball is awful.

Damn what did Harden do after game 6? Go clubbing...
Dray after he wins a ring??? WORK

Damn wish houston guys had this type of work ethic. Reason why draymond is a superstar despite his size

Respect to a good work ethic, but superstar?

To me the measure of a superstar is a guy who could still play all-star starter level on the Sacramento Kings roster. It's not a knock, "superstar" is just rarefied air.

To be honest, I think Draymond it´s a superstar. I hate him as a Warrior, but I respect him, and think he is.

Harden isn't the guy. He was never the guy, he never will be the guy.

It's too bad I've taken the red pill and can't forget.

My guess is there's been bad blood between Harden and other Rockets going back to last year's clusterf*** of a season -- Ariza in particular. This year went swell but then the end of Game 5 brought back bad memories and rehashed that bad blood.

Too bad because the team really gelled from a chemistry standpoint. Ariza even wrote an article on Player's Tribune to justify Harden for MVP.

Regardless of the beef, Ariza is no longer a championship caliber starting SF. He needs to be replaced.
