There's no such thing as one player making a team a top defensive team. Garbage post to blame DH on the pathetic defense houston has displayed as a whole
Agreed. One person doesn't make or break how good a defense is going to be just like one person isn't to blame when the defense is atrocious
Look up game stats? What are you talking about. Was it not you who asked about why a thread wasn't made about the terrible first half?
Harden's defense was at it's worst at the beginning of the game.; when he was at his freshest. Harden's best D came in the 3rd and 4th quarters when he should have been dog tired. Why cant Harden just start off with good D?
But he single handily makes us loose, how does that work? Oh I get it now, he's only the reason when we loose but not the reason we win. Got it.
No one could logically argue that Harden didn't have a great game. One of his top career performances.
Not sure why all that was added to my post when I was specifically stating the truth for this particular game. Unless youre just speaking in general dont assume I think that way
We won tonight because of the defensive effort on the perimeter. The ball denials by Ariza and Brewer on Lillard and McCollum were eerily reminiscent of last year's team.
harden had a good game, or a good 1 1/2 quarter rather, and it deserves a separate thread to just to sing some praise. when he has a bad game, it's a sin to have a thread about just that. and somehow whoever started this thread and also those who are in favor of this thread have the moral high ground? man, i just love the hypocrisy.
don't forget the fighting through the screens! I don't think I saw any switching on the perimeter in the 3rd and 4th.
yeah, respect. i figured morey should from now on have some hooker ready with the team at every game just in case. that's the ultimate respect.
I know some will never admit it, but Harden has returned to a MVP level over the last month or so. I think we have brainwashed ourselves that the greats never made mistakes or had bad games. Jordan, Olajuwan, etc all had off nights. Jordan blamed his performance in the 95 playoffs for the Bulls loss against the Magic. Harden is human, he'll make mistakes and he'll have some bad games, but even with his flaws he is a top 10 player in the NBA. Tonight was a blast to watch, and I'm thankful the Rockets have a legitimate superstar on their roster.
