you should seriously consider calming down though. either take a drink, smoke a bowl, rub one out, or watch some football because you are way too worked up right now. it's kind of just a sports forum right?
I'd rub one out to some football but my boy JJ watt isn't playing today. @daywalker02 dont want these hands pleh
Except I've been a Rox fan since the 70s. Before you were even a seed in your daddy's sack. Now go find a pile of sand and pound it you immense douche bag.
is there even a point to being outraged anymore? it's obvious, it's known and it's consistent, nothing will change that.
unfairly same deflections per game as Westbrook and Rondo more than Lebron, Anthony Davis, Durant same loose balls recorvered per game as Lebron, Anthony Davis, Draymond Green more than Durant and Klay same charges drawn as Lebron, Anthony Davis more than Steph Curry, Butler, George double that of Durant, Kawhi, Westbrook, Klay more 2pt shots contested than Lebron, Kawhi, Curry, George, Westbrook, Butler more 3pt shots contested than Lebron, Durant, Kawhi, Curry, Westbrook more overall shots contested than Lebron, Kawhi, Curry, Westbrook, Butler same defensive reb % as Lebron slight lower than Durant better than Kawhi, George, Butler, Klay, Curry and lastly, similar defensive rating as Lebron, Avery Bradley, Ariza, slight lower than George
I don't give a crap what you think. I've sat in games when Mo was on the floor. You follow the Rox merely for one player. You are the epitome of fake Rox fan. For someone who "balls", to try and put Harden on the same planet as LeBron, or Kawhi defensively is just ludicrous. Absolutely speaks volumes of your basketball knowledge. Harden is what he is. A masterful offensive player who sits it out from time to time. He plays as little D as possible. Rocket greats play both sides of the ball. Akeem, Mo, Rudy T.
You really didnt closely watch games 1 to 93 of last year huh. At least you admit that you don't ball coz if you did then you should be surprised that Harden hasn't been resting or injured at the beginning of the playoffs like the other superstars let me give you some perspective and educate you if you play basketball, do you know how many minutes until you start losing breath, sweating profusely, your legs and arms not responding, and need to rest or get injured? running up and down the court, heaving 3 pointers and layups some with contact, getting hacked, dishing assists, rebounding, defending, contesting, taking charges, going for loose balls, etc can you even just imagine doin that for 81 games let along at the most frantic pace and level? Lebron, Kawhi, Steph, KD, or CP3 definitely can't please read and understand below how much physical and mental effort and energy Harden spent as a sole super star for a team (that you call yourself a fan of) of a bunch of rolepalyers with a GM who the 2nd most paid player in the team he put beside Harden is Ryan Anderson, with a coach who can't play a rotation of more than 7 players also you can see fresh and well-rested an already superior/multi-star championship calibre team was (you admitted this already) compared to Harden and this just the reg season. let me know if you want me to include the first round of the playoffs and compare it to the spurs squad with its stars/former stars/defensive stoppers played and started 81 games, 7 more games than lebron james and kawhi, 9 games more than LMA (spurs 2nd most minutes played next to kawhi), 20 games more than CP3 played a total of 2947 minutes, 150 minutes more than lebron, 500 more minutes than kawhi, 600+ more minutes more than LMA, 1000+ more minutes than CP3 scored a total of 2356 points, 400 points more than lebron, 500 more minutes than points, 1,100 more points more than LMA, 1200+ more points than CP3 dished a total of 907 assists, 250 more asts than lebron, 650 more asts than kawhi, 750 more asts than LMA, 300+ more than CP3 made a total of 262 3 pointers, 100+ more than lebron and kawhi, 200+ more than LMA, 100+ more than CP3 rebounded the ball 659 times, more than lebron, 200 more than Kawhi, 100 more than LMA, 350+ more than CP3 deducing those numbers, it would be very safe to say Lebron spent 90%, Kawhi 80%, LMA 70%, and CP3 60% of the physyical and mental effort and energy that harden spent thru the reg season see the difference of playing with stars/former stars around you? kd, steph, dray, clay; lebron, ki, love; cp3, blake, dj; kawhi, LMA, Pau, Parker, Manu and resting games as a result of either fatigue or injury? harden missed a total of 1 game and championship calibre coach who can play more guys and pace their players especially their stars? pops=multiple rings, more finals, kerr=2 rings and counting, 3 finals and counting, doc=1 ring, couple of finals, MDA=1st yr coaching the rockets and 0 rings n 0 finals appearances
That's very interesting. From an eye test not one time did I say man James harden played terrible defense, he's a liability out there last season and I'm at damn near every game. Now there is times in games were he let someone blow past him and didn't try and recover but that can be said for Lebron Durant even dryamond green who just won dpoy. But I never saw harden just miss assignment like the year before he was always in the proper place for team defense and running the right schemes. His reputation as a poor defender is way overblown. Is he first team all defense material? No. But he is not even close to being one of the worst defensive players in the game. Off all the allstar in the league only green Leonard klay and KD I can say really outperformed him on that end last year. Every other star was the same of worse. What bugs me is the narrative that Westbrook is a good defender? That is comical he's a lot worse than harden but because of his "energy" he's widely seen as a good to great defender when numbers say he's one of the worst.
I thought r/NBA on Reddit hated Harden but even they thought that he was ranked too low. SI does a better ranking. This just seems like a ranking created to generated hits through controversy.
His rep as a poor defender is only among the media, non-Rockets fans, and uneducated Rockets fans. His only problem is that sometimes he ball hawks too much and that's usually when he loses his man on a cut. He will never be a great defender, but he can definitely become a good defender.
only problems I have with Harden defensively are that sometimes he ball watches too much and sometimes he gives up on plays too early or doesn't make the extra effort the media has overblown his defense and make it seem like he's the worst in the league on that end when he's really just your typical below average defender...there aren't too many players that are capable of handling his offensive load while also being above average defensively Clutchfans is the 1 that made that video about Harden's defense that initiated all the memes, vines, and YouTube clips since clowning on his defense meant easy likes, retweets, views, upvotes, etc guys like IT, Derozan, and Kyrie just to name a few are sh*tty defensively but don't get anywhere near the amount of criticism that Harden does...Harden can't slip up once defensively without a clip being produced
Yeah, SI is far more accurate. Honestly, I think there's a strong case for him at #4 ahead of Curry, too. Curry has Harden's 2015 MVP... But #8 behind Westbrook and friggin Davis and Paul is ridiculous. Clearly just feeding off his terrible game 6 and the general league-wide hate for his game.
