leading the league in assists, averaging the 2nd most ppg, 2nd in MVP voting, and the only unanimous selection to All-NBA 1st Team=8th best player in the NBA BSPN=stupid
The media will NEVER put Harden over Curry no matter what the stats say So let me get this straight Curry and Harden were both drafted in 2009. And despite Harden being a 6th man his first 3 years in the league. He still has more career points, rebounds, blocks and is EXTREMELY close in assists, and steals Harden has made 5 all-star teams vs. CURRY 4 And Harden has more 1st team all nba teams made. Lol and Curry made 2nd team all nba with a PER below 25 in 2017. Pathetic when harden missed all the all-nba teams while averaging 29/7/7 a ts% of 60 and a PER of 26
Dumb It is unquestionable that the top 6 NBA players are Lebron, Durant, Curry, Harden, Westbrook, and Kawai. Whatever order you put them in, those are the superstars in the NBA, the truly elite players. Saying anything else means you don't watch basketball.
Subjective rankings always divided peeps, this is as old as time so yeah I think playing together will help bring everyone on the same page, most of them.
NBA 2K18 and basketball reference disagree. Basketball reference has had an mvp tracker on their site since 2015. And they had harden winning in 2015 and 2017.
ESPN know what they did when they put cp3 above harden. They want harden and cp3 to fight over leadership of the team. Espn is looking to defame harden and cp3 is the pawn they are using. Remember Michelle Beatle saying what she said about Harden and Paul when the trade was announced.
8 doesn't sound or look bad...but the people ahead of him...and Draymond at like 10? put down the pipe BSPN
The funny thing is with all the hype Curry and Draymon get from the media. Its still not proven that either of them can carry a team without other elite players next them. Dwight was a shell of his self when he was here with Harden and that has been the best player that Harden has had as a teammate here in Houston. Everybody thought Westbrook was all world, but as soon as Durant left he barely could lead his team to 45 wins, dont get me started on Anthony Davis. Kawhi is more of a system player who is great a lot of things, but too me is not the talaent Harden is. This is how good Harden is, Harden is so good that when the Rockets hired Mike Dantoni the national media thought it wouldnt work because they looked at Harden as a Carmelo Anthony type of player instead of an oscar robertson type that he really is. And when Harden had the amazing season he had, instead of rewarding Harden with an MVP, they gave Dantoni coach of the year. Like it was Dantoni who made Harden this great player smh. Where was this Mike D with the knicks and the lakers Harden used to be compared to Melo all the time by the media namely ESPN and i would just laugh at how dumb the national media for the nba has gotten over the years. Even on this site some fans compared Harden to Adrain Dantley and Melo, and i couldnt believe it. I mean Harden would literally have amazing performance after amazing performance and still get no respect
Harden is better than Curry http://www.landofbasketball.com/player_comparison/stephen_curry_vs_james_harden.htm
nah. Curry took a step back last year to play with KD...outside of that there is no reason to think Harden is better. Sorry man, homer glasses off.
Taking a step back is not posting PER of 24 lol. 2k18 gave curry a 93 and then warrior fans b****ed on Twitter. Curry is not better than harden. Harden has been better than Curry in 3 out of the last 4 seasons. Look at the stats and compare.
If you're taking age into account then I think it's Durant, Harden, Westbrook (lol OKC) and Lebron with Curry rounding out the top 5. The love for Kawhi and AD is ludicrous. Kawhi couldn't carry the same load Harden does even with those bionic shoulders.
