Id have more trust prime true superstar 2nd to lebron harden than past prime injury prone cp3 and tradeable ryno, ego and roleplayers and mda with 7 man rotation and his overdepence on harden Not like never 2nd to lebron "fans" like you
Spin it however you want to, if Westbrook has the percentages harden did y’all would be clowning. I’m not saying westbrook is better than harden, pointing out the hypocrisy of this board. But you’ll never admit to it
how are you pointing out hypocrisy when wb doesn't even have the %'s of harden. it looks more like you're the one doing the spinning bc youre speaking in if terms
i'm all for improving the team with another star if the chance arrives but its entirely possible that the chance doesn't come and our best bet ends up being running running the same team out with another MLE guy. That's a pretty great scenario still, I loved the 2017-18 team. I don't understand all the doom & gloom sky is falling posts. We are right there.
Except Harden actually wins games both in the regular season and in the playoffs. This board would tear westbrook to pieces with 2 first round exits like that with two equally abysmal regular seasons. Despite all of Hardens shortcomings, he seems to bring the best out of his team and manufacture wins out if nowhere. Harden would have wrecked **** with Steven Adams and Oladipo, he also would have wrecked **** with Paul George.
In 4 years the only thing to even come CLOSE to stopping the Warriors are Lebron playing like the greatest player of all time(with Kyrie playing out of his mind) and Harden and CP3. Harden is one of the best SGs of all time but let’s not roast him because he isn’t Lebron or because he can’t single handedly beat the most stacked team of all time. Harden is an elite player who happens to play at the same time as the GOAT player and the GOAT team. Literally every other team in the league would kill to be as good as Houston...and here we are debating just how mentally weak Harden is or in what poor shape he is...whatever....gain some ****ing perspective for a change.
I was partly joking, but the point was that the OP's prediction was ultimately wrong, by the spirit of the law if not the letter of the law... Unless he was predicting that Paul couldn't stay healthy or the refs wouldn't allow us to win a close series. We didn't lose because we were the worse team, as his post seems to be implying.
Lol man y’all would not kill harden he didn’t get killed in here last year for game 6. He definitely would’ve got more out of that okc squad though... easily
No sane human being would put Westbrook in the same zip code as harden. Harden is miles better intact Paul even at his current. Is better
Foolish thread. Watch LeBron get swept and then come back to us w your nonsense. Houston lost because Chris got injured. Harden played they way he needed to play to beat those b****es, ie more D and less offense.
Absouletly, we just need to add some pieces for the bench and hopefully morey works his magic and get rid of Anderson
Surely you are not saying Harden is better than MJ are you? Do you know how many game-winning highlights MJ created? One stumble a career does not make.
It amazes me how much impact cp3 has had on the rockets. Without cp3 the warriors sweep us. As of matter of fact I don't think the rockets beat utah. That 73 win total regular season broken if cp3 didn't miss 24 games and you also have to look at 33 game win streak.
its kinda like a hand on the body.... its makes only 10 or 15% of the body but without it you would be bad at basketball ps hell if nene havent got injured we beat the spurs last year easily
I can see where you are going, but NBA basketball is about winning ships and making clutch baskets, there is nobody more clutch than Jordan, almost. Jordan was not a passer, I give you that, but why do you need passing when you can be counted on in the clutch. Harden is still young enough to elevate himself to be more clutch. 98 Jordan I think isn't the youngest or the best version of Jordan, and you are comparing 98 already 35 yr old Jordan to a 28 yr old Harden. That speaks volumes for Jordan rather against him. Harden is relying on his teammates more than Jordan in the playoffs. That is clear. In the NBA you can be a solo Juggernaut without being a playmaker, Pippen was the key for Michael. Michael could also make the extra pass, his assist average is very decent to say the least. There is a reason they still call him the GOAT, even when Lebron is looming large, but perhaps you did not watch his games because you are younger? I happen to grow up watching him and Hakeem. Watched him declining more than being the Superhuman that he is. But I would go and watch older tapes.
