I checked and sent you a reply e-mail. Read and let me know your thoughts.

    Ted Ruxpin,

We have 2 IR spots. You can alway click on the "Rules" link at the very bottom of the website in order to get the info you may need. By the way, why do you keep picking up players only to release them a couple of hours later?

    Crow-
Oh I picked up Ron ARtest because I thought he was injured. But according to sportsline, he wasn't listed as being injured. ESPN listed him as injured. So I just released him, so I wouldn't be in roster violation in case someone tried to "blow the whistle". Im pretty satisfied with my team now though.

arrrrrghhhh how the hell could I miss putting VC in my lineup for tonight

I really don't like the way CBS has the "set lineup" and "add players" features...It's like they spent alot of time on every thing else but didn't put alot of effort into the things that matter most.

I did not have an illegal roster yesterday:mad:

Im 100% sure of it,I set my roster between 3-4pm yesterday! When I connected to the site it said I had an illegal roster but I changed it.

When is the deadline for setting lineups?

The only way I see this could of happened is if Harpring came off waivers late last night and he immediately went to my active roster and then the deadline passed sometime before I set my roster before 3 or 4pm!?!

If that is the case,no more waivers for me,because I dont feel like staying online waiting for someone to come off waivers to set my rosters late at night!?!

OH WELL,I got screwed and Im out of the runing for sure now!!!!!!!!!!

That stinks....I noticed the same thing when I picked up dampier....instead of him going to reserve he was placed active making my roster illegal, lucky for me I caught it in time.

So, who are your surprise players so far?

My top surprise so far is Pau Gasol. I remember him being drafted, so who was the one who waived him? Not too shabby for a waiver wire pickup. Brad Miller has come up big in the last two games in which he has gotten substantial minutes. He scored 58 fantasy points last night and had near 50 on Saturday night. As long as he continues to get minutes, he will produce good numbers and could turn out to be the steal of the draft. He was picked in the 14th round. Another big surprise for me has been the production of Penny Hardaway. I am not sure how he lasted as long as he did, but I am glad I took a flyer on him and I just hope that he doesn't get injured as he is a consistent 45-50 FP guy. Payton has been kicking ass and I just hope the bickering doesn't begin anytime too soon. Pierce is averaging close to 60 FP/G and Kobe near 65 FP/G. I am liking that trade more and more each passing day. Mutombo still hasn't gotten into form as of yet and I expect his production to increase as Philadelphia's starting 5 are finally back together. With the acquisition of Kidd in NJ, Van Horn has flourished and is playing like I knew he could. He has had a couple of ghost games, but overall is averaging near 43 FP/G. Not to mention, he was a middle round selection. My only disappointment to date has to be David Robinson. With the decreased playing time in San Antonio, he has yet to give me a 40 FP game. When he does play, he looks clumsy and doesn't fit in all to well. Maybe it is because he isn't used to playing so little minutes. I am praying for a Duncan injury or for Robinson to be rejuvenated somehow. That was my analysis of my team so far.

My biggest surprize is that half my team would be injured!!!

Webber is out,OK,then Dickerson, now Baker and Stoudamire and who knows about Cassell!

I see my team going to crap:(

BTW,Lorenzen Wright has to be the biggest surprise player on my team even though I picked him early.

I don't really have any suprises, but Joe Johnson is playing better than I expected, this early..also picked in the 14th round.

Andre Miller has been my most consistent player and was definitely worth the 38th pick.

The two best moves I've made thus far were, picking up Barry from waivers and the Rahim for Carter trade.
If Barry keeps up the good play he could well be waiver pickup of the year....and it seems Rahim has had some problems since the trade, while Carter has had some huge games...hopefully Rahim gets back on track soon :D

BTW ..In our standings menu there is a category called "diff" ...this may be a stupid question but wth ? difference between what ?

I don't understand why everybody is in the same place every day. I think I have been in 6th place from day one. I don't like that. It doesn't give me any hope that I can reach first place.

Until I see some changing of the standings with the different teams, there's nothing to comment on about my team. What's the point?? They are always the 6th best team in this league.

I moved up a spot a few days ago :) but yea..overall not alot of movement..however theres A TON of games left to be played and anything can happen...honestly,I don't really think the #1 team is THAT much better than mine,so I have hope.VanExcell will slump sooner or later Shaq could miss games....like I said anything could happen ...so keep the faith ;)

Crow, I waived Paul Gasol. I guess I waived him too early. Oh well. Consider it a free gift. By the way, I like your strategy of adding/dropping certain players before some games. However, you may run out of players to do that with.

    DAROckets,
Actually, Shaq and/or Van Exel have not been the star players on my team. I'd have to say Shawn Marion has if not the most fantasy points/game for my team. Also he has a very diversified line of stats...assists, boards, points, blks, and steals.

Yea I had Marion last year and he is great for a fantasy team....I was just using them as examples....so anyway ...marion could miss 10-15 games with a minor injury and it would significantly impact Teds team..just trying to spread some hope :D

    Here are some interesting numbers:

    Countingcrow...110 games played...37.45 FP/G
    DAROckets......107 games played...35.75 FP/G
    Manny Ramirez...84 games played...38.71 FP/G
    DVauthrin.......75 games played...38.92 FP/G
    Rocketman95....102 games played...35.35 FP/G
    Joe Joe.........77 games played...33.14 FP/G
    Shanna.........115 games played...36.24 FP/G
    Ren.............89 games played...31.96 FP/G
    BGM.............74 games played...33.14 FP/G
    Ted Ruxpin.....109 games played...38.09FP/G

As you can all see, the owners with the most games played occupy the top five spots in the standings. Since there are no game limits in this league you need to play the maximum amount of players that you can play each night. You need to take advantage of those 2 IR spots you have available to you and get those injured players off of "reserve" so that you can grab a healthy player off the waiver wire. Injuries are going to play a big part in who wins this league, so take advatage of any opportunity presented to you along the way.
