Given the amount of stuff thrown around about Lin, I'm not surprised at anything anymore. It was the simply the easiest point to test whether or nor you were actually serious, because honestly some posters would be.
* Sigh* I thought I addressed this when jumping on Aaron Brooks became popular. Just because a black man "throws up" a sign with his hands doesn't mean he is a gang member or wants to be one. Subconscious racism is a b*tch
Statements like that can only lead down a few roads. None of those end pretty. I'd tread cautiously if I were you.
Clearly you've watched a lot of NBA games to make a statement like that. I guess you never saw Scola as a Rocket. A pattern is emerging.
I've seen less turn into worse. You're making bold statements about a person's character, sexual preferences and lifestyle. What's next?
Some of you really, really need to admit it. You despise James Harden and think that the Rockets would be better off if they had never traded for him.
I used to root for him as much as I root for Asik, Lin, Parsons. It is getting harder after the last month.
I love Harden, he is one of the best players in the NBA. So thankful we have him. He may ISO more than most, but he is very good at it, draws a lot of fouls. Great player.
harden has a lot of lazy-mcgrady qualities in him... both very talented, very good 1v1 players, but fail as a team player question, have you guys seen harden make 1 cut to the basket (or move around) without the ball?
He will develop new skills and techniques; he is very young. A summer with the coaches can make a world of difference. He has "it," and that is a lot to work with.
He has it in him to bring up the excitement and energy we all crave for. He's not just a nonchalant player who has no emotion. Have you seen his playoff games with the Thunder? He went crazy after his dagger against the Spurs! I mean one of his famous memes is the one where he has the craziest facial expression and the meme reads "Mom made pizza rolls!!!!!" I have a feeling these 3 days of no game action will help him regather himself and he'll show up with the energy. And another thing about energy is the fans. It was kind of difficult for him to be all pumped up when Rocket fans show up late to games. I think he thrived off of the OKC crowd because they showed up, on time, practically every game. Almost like a college atmosphere. It will be great to see a Rockets playoff crowd for the 1st time since 2009 in game 3 of this series. WE SHOULD BE PUMPED ABOUT THE PLAYOFFS, NOT JUDGING OUR PLAYERS!!!!
Yeah, sure. That's why he averages nearly 6 dimes a game. It's not hard to root for Harden, or any of the other Rockets players. What's hard is reading some of the crap posted here after a loss.
I do root for Harden only because he is a Rockets player. But for non Rockets fans, he can be hard to root for. Not just his persona, but the way he flops and gets to the line a lot.
You really can't say you're a fan of the team if you find it hard to root for our players. If you really like the Rockets, you should always root for every player to succeed. It's just that simple.
