We had an entire offseason and preseason last year to prepare, and look what happened. How would the bye week help?
yeah, how do you know what to prepare for when you have a new head coach come and have no "true" game tape of them? Sure you could watch the jets the previous years with the ravens but even then, you don't know if he was going to be the same, i.e. he could have altered his scheme based on the head coaches desires. It's still no excuse to get manhandled, but it's still a valid point. I think they caught a lot of people off guard the first few weeks.
I think its pretty evident that the Jets started out catching a lot of teams off guard with the way they started the season and the way they ended it. One thing is for sure, a bye week could only help us, not hurt us.
