I laugh at your 4 inches of snow. Three weeks ago, my house in the Catskills got 78 inches over a three day span. for some scale, the deck is 8 feet off the ground
Eh, it builds character, or at least that's what I tell myself as I'm freezing my arse off. It's also what I told myself last summer when it was 100+ for pretty much 2.5 freaking months straight. I'm apparently chock-full of character. Yay me. Spent about 3 days last week tuning/cleaning the boat & wave runner & haven't had a chance to use 'em yet. I hear you about the coast, was supposed to go down to Corpus last week for a couple of days, but decided against it since there was a front & hardcore Tstorms on Tuesday. Soon, I hope, soon.
You're correct sir, it means the little boy in spanish. The meaning behind the name is that the warmer waters in the Pacific ocean are generally noticed around Christmas, when little boys are opening presents. Some say that el nino also was meant to mean Christ Boy as a result of the recognizing around Christmas. It is a rather interesting phenomenon to say the least.
