    Amazing. I think I'm going to go play my own rendition of "Texas Flood" now in observance of Juneteenth and that damn fine lineup.

    Definitely a great day in Texas history! Happy Juneteenth everyone! I would like to say look how far we've come since then, but I still believe we have a ways to go before race is no longer an issue in this country. However, recognizing important events like this and educating our children about them and our history will hopefully make the future America color blind.

    I had no idea Juneteenth existed, because they don't celebrate it in dc. But what an awesome holiday, commemorating a great moment in Texas history. Unfortunately, all is not well completely in the good old USA, but by accepting each other and loving our brothers and sisters of every race, we take great strides in creating a brighter future for our posterity. Not to sound like an public service message, but what a great holiday to recognize! Gracious Juneteenth to everyone!!
