Happy Easter to all you Clutch Fans. It's miserable weather here in Seattle, so I just finished hiding 65 eggs on the second floor of our townhouse (which is quite a feat). My daughter is 2, so this is her first real Easter where she's been clamoring for the Easter Bunny. We even left a carrot out for him. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow morning. Hope you day is a good one whether it's hunting eggs, hanging with family, a day at church, or some combination of those.
thankgod we're closed that day. My manager tried to get me to work to train an employee until he realized corporate has us closing. happy easter! Beautiful weather today, hope for the same in the morning.
I never did growing up. It just kind of evolved this week. My daughter asks about everything now. "What does the Easter Bunny eat?" Uh...carrots. "We leave him some." Sure. I figure we leave cookies out for Santa, so why not carrots for the Easter Bunny. I took a bite off the end so it looks like he snacked on it and then left a note thanking her for the carrot. Kids rock!
Sounds pretty awesome Scribbo. I've also never heard of the carrot thing, but it sounds like a cool little tradition. Unfortunately with all the rain here in Houston egg hunt plans might change for the family.

Yeah - all hail the pagan fertility goddess Eastre with our bunnies and eggs How does that stuff have anything to do with Easter again?
I think Jesus was hatched from an Easter egg or something. That being said I loved Easter egg hunting when I was a kid. I would still do it now, but I don't think its acceptable for an adult to run around and pick eggs. Sometimes the eggs had gold coins in them. Those were legend.
Happy Easter to all! BTW, how many of y'all remember exactly what that fake paper grass in those Easter baskets tastes like?
