i dont get it a bday threads DAYS before the actual date, what were you trying to get the jump on pryuen or something?
I was looking up some stats on Yao Ming and his bio came up and I saw his B-day was right around the corner...the rest is history . I think having an early thread a few days in advance is well worth it for two reasons: 1. you and I have this great exchange 2. it shows Yao that we really luv the big fella.
WHY I should be p!$$ed?? I'll be doing my coverage on him anyhow regardless whether it is his birthday or not. Now that his visit to Taiwan is over, my attention now turns to the big one: The prelude activities to the Yao & Nash Charity Gala (September 14) will start immediately right after his birthday, i.e. September 13....as his NBA friends are arriving into Beijing !!

Well his birthday is September 12. What I said in my post was: The prelude activities, i.e. the auction and gala dinner/banquet will be on September 13, immediately after his birthday. The basketball game will be on September 14.
