    Dear Royce White,

Please work hard, get in tip top shape, and become something close to this:

This is one of my fav videos to watch of all time. A total clinic on how to run the fast break...as a team. What you see is guys running, in lanes, creating space, and a guy in the middle with the ultimate vision, handle, and ball fake wizardry, creating the deception to make it all work. Another thing you see is guys running, including Magic, but they're all running under control. There's just a certain pace to it. It's not helter-skelter all-out out-of-control running, just a nice quick pacing.

The ultimate fast break is not about being the first one down the floor. The ultimate fast break is about 3-4 guys running up-tempo and syncronizing their pace and space. Watch Magic slow it up in some of those plays and wait for his wing men to cut to the bucket. Watch his teammates calmly keep their spacing as they get to the other end and he is challenged by multiple defenders on the dribble. All they have to do is hold their spacing and wait for the inevitable 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 as the defense has to pull up to stop the dribble. It's a beautlful team break.

I am hoping that Royce has this effect on his teammates. No, he's not as good as Magic. Magic is greatest point guard to ever play the game. Just hoping that Royce AND his teammates watch this vid over and over to understand how to run.
