There's the letter of the law and there's the spirit of the law... That move definitely did not break the spirit of the law if you ask me. For one, he caught the ball maybe a fifth of a second too early, and for another, he was very much in bounds for all practical purposes when he caught the ball.

Also, I always thought that "be established in-bounds" thing was a stupid rule. Maybe I'm missing some critical part of the reasoning behind it, but I have always believed that as long as every part of your body is either in the air or touching the floor in-bounds, you should be able to touch the ball whenever and where ever you want.
