I don't listen to cRap, and I certainly don't smoke crap, because that's certainly what it smells like.
Haha, some work friends and I went to play disc golf during lunch today. It's a really nice day in Austin, but there was hardly anybody at the course. (which is usually pretty busy) My coworker was like, "weird, it is a holiday or something?" At first I couldn't think of anything, but suddenly it all made sense.
I actually started off the day pretty good, then I got a speeding ticket for a speed I wasn't going, and the cop couldn't provide proof of said speed. Followed that tidbit up with finding out some dude who sent me a payment via paypal for an order filed a claim and said it wasn't authorized, in which case paypal took money out of my account and gave back to him, so now he has both the order and the money it cost for the order. It's been a doozy of a day
This is the reason I closed my PayPal account and never looked back. Sent a dude a MacBook Pro about 5 years ago on ebay, had proof of delivery and everything. On the very last possible day he did a charge back, and got the MacBook and the money. I spent six months trying to get my money back from PayPal and eBay, NOPE. They didn't care I had proof, they just didn't want to fight with the credit card company.
This is unreal. I feel like there are enough dishonest people in the world where if it's that easy to steal, then business via PayPal would be a bigger problem. You sure there isn't more to this story?
