Again, agree completely. Who is that on the horizon, the four horsemen of the apocolypse? ------------------ Me fail English? That's unpossible.
I saw Hannibal tonight and I absolutely loved it. You guys know that Mastercard commercial........"Losing yourself in a movie...Priceless"? I lost myself in this one, and that hasn't happened to me in a long time. It is all a matter of opinion, of course, but I fail to see how anyone could be disappointed in Hannibal. At the end, I had to remind myself that Foster was in "Lambs." BTW, Connery is the best Bond. ------------------ "Salt Lake City, Utah. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villany." --Olaju-Won Kenobi, to young jedi Steve (Fran)'chiseWalker

Well... I was torn. While I loved it cinematically. I thought it was a beautifully shot and acted film, BUT why oh why can't a film service the novel? I understand time restraints and streamlining story lines. But come on! Just tell the story! But I gotta say something here. The thing that disturbed me the most. And I'm still reeling about this... WHAT ON EARTH ARE PEOPLE BRINGING 3 AND 4 YEAR OLDS TO THIS MOVIE!!! The theater was filled with kids!!! I'm not talking 11 or 12 year olds or teenagers. I'm talking 2 year olds?!?!? There was a 3 year old 4 seats next to my wife and me and we couldn't believe it! I'm dumbfounded! I don't know what to say! On another note! I find it ironic that my 1000TH POST is talking about one of the things I love most! Film ------------------ Everything you do, effects everything that is.
I went to watch a late show last night. I was really tired. I saw little of the movie , all I rememeber was the eating of the brain. I was dead asleep the whole time. It was a boring movie in my opinion from the 20 minutes I saw ------------------ "Break off the block like Maurice Green" --- Steve Francis President of the Moochie Norris fan club.
I saw it today. I'd say overall it was a good movie, there were parts that went REALLY slow and made me wonder how much time's left in the movie, but then again there were other parts that were awesome. Those awesome parts I kept thinking about hours after the film. Especially when I had dinner, all I thought about was the ending with the brain part. I guess I'm a sick person since my girlfriend and I couldn't stop laughing when it happened. We were the only ones laughing but ya it was cool. Not as good as Silence but then again what sequels are better then their predecessor? (Exceptions being Aliens and Terminator 2) Anyway all week I've been looking forward to this movie and I wasn't dissapointed. ------------------
MC Mark: I hear ya. I also saw many 2-8year old kids there. What idiot brings a child to a movie like that? Ohhhhh, what a perfect thread to mark my 666th post. This calls for a new signature; a quote from the father of parent-freaking-out music: ------------------ "We got f*cking smashed every day. And then when we came here to Beverly Hills, we had drugs, we had chicks, we had orgies. I thought I'd died and gone to f*cking Rome" ---Ozzy Osbourne, on the early days of Black Sabbath [This message has been edited by Lynus302 (edited February 12, 2001).]
hehe. You should talk Mr.IWannaHaveDaveMatthews'Babies. Amanda Detmer looked good in Final Destination...when that bus smacked her into the pavement. ------------------
