I've never seen much of her besides the old NBA on NBC, and a little bit during the Olympics. But for the most part I thought she was pretty good. Never watched any morning news shows, so I don't know how she is there. Then again, I have stopped watching sportscenter ever since I found the greatness of the internet. So it's all a moot point.
I'm surprised ESPN hasn't been renamed the NFL Network. My god, how much football can you talk? Seriously. I like football but damn. 1st and 10: Can't stand it. It was better with Woody Paige and Skip Bayless. Now, we get Jemele Hill. Ugh. The only two debate shows that are actually worth watching are Around the Horn & Pardon the Interruption.
You sure it isn't just being 20 years older, FB? I remember Hannah had that puffed out hair when she was doing the '86 playoffs... very 1980's! (and it looked goofy as hell) Hannah's always been one of my favorites and she's always been a fan of the Rocks. I'm glad she's still around.
Yep, and Moby constantly referenced her "puppies". I am guessing she isn't very nostalgic for that gig.
It is true that she had some major 80's hair, and if I'm remembering the footage correctly she had some pretty thick 80's blue eye shadow as well. It was pretty funny. The sad thing is that my marriage fantasy didn't evolve until the 90's when she was at NBC.
Me too...I remember when she did sports on the radio...She was fine then and she's still fine...I guess CBS's morning show didn't work out...
How does she look different? She looks same, I think. I remember her from NBA on NBC (which was the best network ever!) and I thought it was really cool that they had a female sports reporter. She paved the way for female sports reporters.
you sure about that? Now that I really try to remember, I cant say for sure...but I thought that when she was doing Moby's sports they were on 97 Rock. I know for sure that Lanny Griffith (now on Fox26) was the Traffic Master...crack! The embarrassing things that some folks have to do early in their careers.
Back in the say she looked like a very light complected black woman. Now she looks completely white. Does anyone know if she is part black? The difference in appearance is quite noticeable, at least in my view.
for some reason i've always loved her postgame interview after game 1 against orlando (since espn classic always shows this game, i've been able to see it several times). after hakeem tips in the game winner, he runs off the court, breaking a hannah storm arm-tackle along the way, but she manages to corral kenny smith and clyde drexler and seems very excited to talk to them. i'm not saying anything, but it kinda looked like she wanted a shot of, uhh... rocket fuel, if you know what i'm saying. like she wanted The Jet to come in for a landing on her runway. like she wanted clyde to glide to the hole. i'm just sayin'.
