Couldn't hurt, but I was being serious. At some point in my life (28ish) I just decided to moderate my drinking more than I had before. Definitely a good decision. What made it easier for me was my wife being with child at the time and having a few issues. I thought how unbelievably shitty I'd be if I was unable to take care of my pregnant wife (in the event of something unfortunate) because I had just downed a pitcher of home made margarita. So I had a reason to make that change in my life. Since then I've remained a light drinker and am better for it. This is not to say that everyone should drink less or whatever, but for some it can be a good thing; for those that are just tired of having hangovers it might be worth considering. Plus I was easily spending $200/mo at Specs when I was at my worst so having a few extra bucks is a good thing too.
I recall they had these things called Chasers you could drink with your 1st drink to ease hangovers but they banned them bc they led to binge drinking...
