21 Points 9 boards 5 blocks 3 steals 3 assists in 37 minutes against a highly talented lithauanan outfit. this kid was getting triple teamed pretty much all game. despite that, he still dominated them. our own luis scola could only muster up 10 points against the same opponents. this guy is a pretty darn good player.

He seems to be the only shining piece on the Iranian team, he puts up numbers against practically every opponent he has faced.

I watched that game - Newley was awesome. He drove the lane against Hadadi (and threw one down on him) and he played fantastic defense. Another season overseas won't kill him - but if we found ourselves with a roster spot open, it wouldn't hurt to bring him over!)

But back on topic: the big guy (Hadadi) looks the goods - he didn't play much against Bogut (who had a loooong rest while his teammates touched up the Iranians). Hadadi is a genuine presence in the key at both ends though.

I'd love for the Rockets to sign him and send him to DLeague for a year!

Yeah Houston has a large population of South Asians, Vietnamese, and some Middle-eastern groups and west africans.

He is more capebale of being a 10 points 9 boards 2 blocks in 25 minutes a night type player. the grizzly's got a bonafide steal.

POINTS 21 points 17 boards on 7-12 shooting 7-10 from the line.those were ehdadis stats against oberto and scola. the grizz must be thinking they got a very good big man for nothing.

    They haven't signed him yet....

The report was simply that they were showing interest!

could this be the minor trade that Morey is talking about?

He is playing very well at this competition.

They better do it soon. skilled big men like him who can dominate a frontline of scola and oberto are hard to find. this guy has pretty much owned everyone. he had 20 points 20 boards on kiristic and darko. now he destroyed oberto and our own scola for 21- 17. the game against the Aussiues he beat bogut head to head. the list goes on.

I should he's only and he hasnt even remotley come close to he's prime. he was playing in a amature type league in iran. imagine if an nba team puts some time and effort into he's game and conditioning. he could be a starting type calibare player in the nba with some help. he's allready much, much better then the likes of oberto.

Scola's FG% in that game was 69.2% and Oberto's was 100%. Ehadadi's FG% was 46.7% which isn't good for a big. What he did do was dominate the glass. The guy has a shocking fitness level considering his weight.

    You saw that game then?

Because Bogut hardly played in the second half - the Aussies were winning by 30 and rolled out 'Mark Worthington, Shawn Redhage and Chris Anstey' as the frontline for a large part of that half (haven't heard of them? exactly...)

I didn't see Hadadi 'beating Bogut' head to head much in that game.

Having said that - I think the big guy is most certainly an NBA centre. No doubt in my mind that he can rebound well enough, block enough shots and can finish inside.
