Are they going to do more terrorism to get more citizenships? To your point, yes, it gives those in the West Bank a perverse incentive. It'll encourage others fighting for equal rights in other parts of the world too to use terrorism to force recognition. But the incentive to use violence to stop oppression and win your freedom has always been there and has been used the world over throughout history. The secret is out. In this case, equal rights is something that should have been extended to Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank a long time ago. Israel can defuse a lot of violent resistance by proactively seeking justice for Palestinians instead of making them fight for it. (Also, I didn't say anything about reparations.)

When use of terrorism results in your goals being achieved, it encourages future use of terrorism to achieve goals. Something you already have would not be a goal.
If you chose to frame it as the poor innocent Palestinians fighting for equal rights against the evil Israeli oppressors, then of course the perverse incentives don't matter for the good guys. The reverse is also true. Allowing the Israelis to wipe out the Palestinians will encourage others fighting terrorists in other parts of the world to remain steadfast in their battle against evil terrorists who target civilians.
The incentive to use violence to eliminate the people attacking you and secure the lives of your citizenry has always been there and has been used the world over throughout history. The secret is out.
In this case, the end of terrorism is something that should have happened in Gaza and the West Bank a long time ago. The Palestinians can defuse a lot of the security measures taken against them by proactively quashing the terrorists in their midst instead of encouraging and supporting them. (Also all the things you mentioned constitute reparations).

Live Updates: Israel and Hamas Finish 6th Exchange of Hostages for Prisoners
Hamas freed three Israelis who appeared to be in relatively good condition, and Israel released 369 Palestinian prisoners. The exchange will likely sustain a fragile cease-fire, at least for a while.

    https://www.nytimes.com/live/2025/02/15/world/israel-hamas-gaza-hostages

    excerpt:

Hamas freed three thin and pale Israeli hostages from captivity in Gaza on Saturday, prolonging a fragile cease-fire with Israel that seemed on the brink of collapse earlier this week.

Israel said it had released 369 Palestinian prisoners in exchange, concluding the sixth such swap under the cease-fire deal.

The Palestinian captors forced the Israelis to mount a stage in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis and give speeches in Hebrew against a backdrop of portraits of Hamas leaders.

At least one of the hostages was visibly gaunt, and another appeared frail. Rifle-toting militants affiliated with Hamas and another group, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, stood nearby. Some carried Israeli weapons, part of the carefully choreographed theatrics that have also been on display in past releases.

On the stage, militants had put up pictures of Matan Zangauker, an Israeli hostage who has not yet been released, and of his mother, Einav Zangauker, who has been campaigning for his freedom. They were displayed alongside an hourglass and the words, “Time is running out.”

The gunmen did not, however, prod the men into thanking their captors, as happened last week in scenes that shocked Israelis.

The three male civilians released were captured from a rural village at the start of the war in October 2023. They are Sasha Troufanov, 29; Iair Horn, 46; and Sagui Dekel-Chen, 36, one of the few American citizens still held in Gaza.

Hundreds of people gathered in a Tel Aviv square to watch the televised release, cheering, waving Israeli flags and shedding tears of joy.

The Palestinian prisoners who were released included 36 serving life sentences for attacks on Israelis.

A first batch of 10 released Palestinian prisoners arrived in the city of Ramallah in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. As they stepped off the bus, the prisoners were handed jackets to cover the sweatshirts that their jailers had made them wear before they were freed. The sweatshirts bore a phrase in Arabic: “We shall neither forget nor forgive.”

The successful exchange is likely to sustain the cease-fire, at least for a time. The arrangement, which began in late January, is set to expire in early March unless Israel and Hamas agree to an extension.

The truce wobbled this week after Hamas threatened to delay the hostage release. It accused Israel of violating the deal, including by not sending sufficient tents and other aid into Gaza.

Israel threatened to resume the war if Hamas did not relent. By Friday, both sides signaled that the dispute had been resolved.

‘Hundreds of miles’ of Hamas tunnels remain in Gaza — and it could take years to eliminate them: Israel consul general

    https://nypost.com/2025/02/15/world...tunnels-remain-in-gaza-israel-consul-general/

    excerpt:

On Saturday the terror group released three more Israeli hostages in exchange for hundreds of prisoners in Israeli jails — extending the fragile ceasefire.

Should hostilities resume, the war would “look different” than the last 15 months of fighting, Akunis said, declining to elaborate.

Akunis steadfastly refused to attack President Biden by name but he could not resist a smile when asked to compare the two American leaders’ approaches to the powder-keg region.

“I think that now the there is a new attitude in the American administration,” he said.

Both Israel’s invasion of Rafah and control of the Philadelphi Corridor dividing Gaza and Egypt were vociferously opposed by the Biden administration. This time around he had “no doubt” about total American support for whatever was necessary to root out the terrorist threat, he said.

“I don’t think that anyone will say to the Israeli government not to, let’s say, act in Rafah as an example or about the Philadelphi Corridor.”

The ultimate end state of Zionist fascism occurred in Florida this weekend.

Two Mizriahi Jewish Israeli tourists were shot in Florida by a anti-semetic Palestinian immigrant...

I mean they were shot by a American Jewish hardcore supporter of Israel who thought the two Mizriahi Jews were Palestinians and wounded them.

Fortunately the two Israelis survived the incident and were hospitalized. While in the hospital one of the Israelis not knowing yet who the attacker was assumed it was some Muslim or Arab or Palestinian and tweeted "death to Arabs".

So to be clear a Mizriahi Jewish Israeli which means they have an Arab background tweeted "death to Arabs" because he thought the pro Israeli Jewish American was a anti-semetic Arab.

You can't make this **** up

This situation only happens through fascists and it's God damn hilarious.

I'm sure he'd defend himself from the accusation of not having any belief system and being a abject grifter by accusing anyone who labels him a grifter of being homophobic. Seems like the way he'd defend himself.

Tom Homan just told the Fox News anchor lady to hold his coffee. He’s sending his ICE agents to Boro Park, he’s got some deporting to do.

Look on principle I'm usually against debunked phrenology science but God damn cops aren't making it easy.

Like Homon is the King Thumb. He's the final boss Thumb. Something about the more thumb like you look the more cop you become. So I might not believe in the general concepts of phrenology but I can accept cop phrenology exists. There is a certain look of "thumb" that gives you cop powers. I don't understand it. It's so consistent. Every region of America the most fascist cop has a thumb for a head. Seriously look it up. It's frighteningly consistent.
