Sadly, the IDF is running missions in the ruins of central and north Gaza again because Hamas is effectively running an insurgency in what should be IDF secured territory. You can’t bomb Hamas out of existence just as we could not bomb the VC out of existence (and not for a lack of trying).

From what I can tell based on that and just photos of her post-rescue, Hamas or the Al Jazeera Reporter keeping her prisoner definitely treated her better than what would be expected or was typical in this conflict. I can’t imagine the psychological trauma her or anyone else involved in the attack will be suffering for the rest of their lives.
