As can you. And you can watch the press conference where the IDF admits that it doesn't know if the explosion is from an airstrike or not. So I'm shocked you do.
Jeez, that's not a new buzzword. "Proportionality" is a concept with deep historical roots, officially codified in the 1949 Geneva Conventions. Ignoring international law is precisely how Israel may find itself losing support, becoming isolated, and providing excuses for Hamas and similar terrorist organizations to continue to act barbarically. https://ihl-databases.icrc.org/en/customary-ihl/v1/rule14 Rule 14. Proportionality in Attack Launching an attack which may be expected to cause incidental loss of civilian life, injury to civilians, damage to civilian objects, or a combination thereof, which would be excessive in relation to the concrete and direct military advantage anticipated, is prohibited
@AroundTheWorld @ROXRAN @Salvy But woke people in California want to ban guns Can they support the Hamas who loves guns ?
So he said the IDF didn't attack them there, that he is not a forensic analyst so doesn't feel comfortable analyzing the issue, it may have been a freak accidental strike by Israel, but was likely Hamas. I can tell you that I saw no evidence of a missile or aerial bomb, and I have watched it maybe 20 times now. Like this guy, I would say it makes a lot more sense for the people trying to stop movement to the south to blow up people moving south than the people encouraging it. I will agree that he definitely didn't definitively say it was not an airstrike though. It is nice that he confirmed the IDF didn't target them though. So, either it was Hamas or an accident according to him. Why did you think it was not propaganda when Hamas was claiming that the IDF was bombing the people fleeing south? Is this the best evidence you have it was not Hamas propaganda? Why might someone on the ground there have been filming an ordinary line of trucks?
Well, we don't know is the bottom line. It could have been Hamas, it could have been the IDF. But it's not just Hamas saying its airstrikes. Neither Hamas nor the IDF is a trustworthy source of info. Historically both have lied extensively to cover up their own brutality. I'm not saying they are the same nor am I comparing the two. The point is, you can't rule out airstrikes and my opinion is if typically pro-Israeli media outlets are labeling air strikes, that's pretty eyebrow raising. Maybe it was an accident. Who the F knows.
If Israel has left the Gaza strip, and has no settlements there, and Hamas governs - why are they attacking Israel, they have their own country basically, just like Ireland or Scotland or Wales - they even self govern, is it just a matter of being recognized as Palastine? What are the terms that they seek, if you look around you get all kinds of answers - 2 party state, not as popular anymore - one big land mass connecting the Gaza strip and the West bank (Never going to happen)...... Until they come up with reasonable objectives that Israel can also get behind this will continue to go on, and Innocents as in all wars will take the brunt of it. DD
What if they changed the Hamas videos to include Black women because they are underrepresented in the attacks? what if Hamas had gender neutral restrooms and drag shows in mosques ?
