wow if we are really gonna get that serious, i mite have to actually get serious and stop going after assassin kills. But it would be nice to be coordinated, i hate getting into a skirmish and thn realizing that my teamates are all on th other side of the map.

Not really a big deal, plenty of other 360 and PS3 games did this, and not too many people noticed (and those that did could probably only notice something being off about the image quality). I guess it only matters if you just want to discuss the technical abilities of Halo 3.
It's pretty clear that it's not 1080p like some of the reviews are gushing about when I'm playing on my 58" 1080p plasma...especially after playing something like Virtua Tennis 3 (obvously a much smaller scale game - but the graphics are incredibly sharp). EDIT: The lack of AA on Halo 3 probably makes the jagged edges more obvious than the 640 vs 720p issue.
i dont think we need to keep a certain team, i mean it does help with working with a team, but its not like we're playing hardcore games,most of the time it will just be a custom game so no ranking is involved. i'd rather just mix up the teams each rd. the only time we did do matchmaking instead of custom last night was when we didnt have 5v5 anymore.
Nothing too fancy...one of the Denon receivers with HDMI inputs...forget which model. Paradigm speakers - Monitor 7's, CC-370 center, Mini Monitor surrounds, PW-2200 sub. Been using them since college...haven't seen many Paradigm dealers since then. Got the Panasonic 58" through employee purchase program...pretty good price

I think KC is having a little fun. I know the guy...and I seriously doubt his interest lies in Halo 3's graphics quality. I know what your doing, KC. You sir are no graphics' w****. LOL.
Despite having never played Halo 3 or watched a video of the game ~ I am quite sure the graphics are a muddy mess.
OMFG, it is jag city combined with a sea of blocky muck. I have been playing for three days straight in HD and the washed out textures and razor jaggies are permanently damaging my retinae. It is terrifying. If only I had standard def this wouldn't have happened.
I have the same problem, although I get it when i play it on my projector in my theatre room. must be lack of light? I never got into Gears of War because I kept getting a headache.
I finished single player-Heroic at about 6:20 AM this morning, finishing off a 12 hour session. My hands are burning now.
