Play it on Legendary, imo it is way harder then Halo 1. The single player campaign is outstanding, but I wish we still had a health bar. The pistol is now useless, but the battlerifle is out of control powerful. The story is great and the twist, (level 4 or 5 if I can remember correctly) altough I saw it coming, was neat. There still isn't a level cooler than 'Assault on the Control Room" from Halo 1, but atleast we don't have to play levels backwards. One tip that helps alot on harder parts of the game: Equip your guys with good weapons like sniper rifles, rocket launchers and coveneant carbines - especially if they only have pistols and such on them. They use them very effectively.

I just finished beating it, seemed kind of short. I was disappointed by the end. All of a sudden it was just over.
Just played this game for the first time,3 days straight with 3 friends. all i got to say is.....GREATEST GAME EVER!!!!
Just started: Heroic is doable, but tough. I had a real hard time with the flying green things on heroic (somewhere near the bomb). But I got past them. Now I'm in the city trying to elminate snipers, but those invisible little bastards are beating the crap out of me at the same time the little green things fly over and whack me off. Gonna be a long battle. In need of better weapons. On heroic, in two/three shots your dead. So you have to be careful. So far pretty good. Is there a way to dump the right hand weapon if it's out of ammo without dumping the left hand weapon? It's driving me nuts so far. Thanks.
Somebody let me know when you get past Legendary. I'm afraid to start it because I figure it will be a 2-3 week commitment and will take me 30 or 40 hours at least; the flying elites and the beam rifle snipers are going to be a b**** I imagine. Getting past Leg. on original Halo was one of my crowning videogame achievements. That muster bay still gives me nightmares.... This time around though I guess you're going to have to do a lot more running than fighting.
Can someone add me to the Clan. I cant find a way to add myself at all....I keep getting an error message when I try to enter the Clan forum. My gamertag is "LeagueFreak"
Look for the "Join this group" link when you click on the Clutch BBS group. It should be on the page above where the tabs are to the different areas. Once you join, you will no longer see the error message in the forum. It's pretty funky how they set that up and the "Join this group" link doesn't stand out at all. By the way, I've spent a considerable amount of time working my way up to level 7 on Rumble Pit. However, I still cannot win a match for the life of me. I have finished 2nd a few times, though. I usually finish in the top five but I will occassionally have a last place game which totally pisses me off. I've wanted to break everything in my house and burn it I get so mad. I've thrown the controller a few times and scream the "F" word many a time. The thing is I think I'm pretty good. I'm wondering if connection doesn't have a lot to do with how good you are? I think it would have to just like any other Internet-based game. I may spend the rest of my life trying to win a Rumble Pit match. I'm not that f*cking bad dammit! Surf
Oddball games will help you out. Some games nobody ever bothers picking up the ball, just grab it and go hide in a corner somewhere.
The muster bay on Legendary was a nasty c*** of a wh0re. All of those shielded sword Elites. [shudder] On the flip side, being able to carry the sword on H2 freaking ROCKS!!!
I've been playing quite a bit - and have spotted some of you online as well - but it often says that since you guys are in some matchmaking mode, that I can't join in yall's game. I'm still amazed at how fast & how smooth multiplayer is. Well worth the investment.
