Sirhangover...2000 called they want their competent president back? Give me a forking break. Competent? I swear to God I read some of the rubbish you people on the distant left and I think you people are borderline r****ded. Most of you type well but I swear you have chromosomes all forked up. Missing thumbs and drooling on yourselves and stuff. Probably rock back and forth and stare at fans and ****. Do you really believe that way Frank and Beans?

You support the troops but not the leaders...? The leaders are trops. All the way to the top. The CINC is a soldier.

To the victor go the spoils? Then why isn't Iraq our 51st state? In this war if we win then the Iraqi people win. If we lose then the world loses. If there are some collateral benefits then so forking be it Ruperick.

You won't be happy until President Bush is removed from power will you? Are you Canadian? French? Are you from Otisburgh? It's a tiny little place...

The oil execs want this war? Are you out of your feeble mind? How many do you know? Me? I know three. Two CFO's and one CEO of major oil related company's. They are all freaking just like we are. I'm not talking about Joe Bucks drilling company. I am talking about multinational companies with 3,000 to 12,000 employees.

    You guys freak me out.

BTW-I take back all of the personal stuff I just said. Except for the Ruperick part, that, I liked and would like to stay.

Thanks, Jorge. And thanks to the rest of you. I always like it when we take a break from politics to be friendly with each other. It happens with bitter enemies in Congress and it's great that it happens here too. There's a lot we don't agree about, but that's true of me and lots of my friends. If we knew each other we'd probably avoid politics altogether and get along just fine. We do, of course, have at least one thing in common in cc.net.

All my best to you as well and to all cc.net'ers regardless of ideology.

I was going to say something really snazzy here in response to sirhangover's tirade, but I think I lost a few too many brain cells trying to process it... Chance did well enough, so I'll just let it rest at that.

    Warning to all defense contractors:

If anyone on your management team has ever or may ever become a politician, sirhangover will assume collusion on any future contracts.

Here's the obligatory war monger portion of our program...

You don't know me well enough to say any of this. I have done a fair amount of travelling myself. I have never been to Europe, but I have travelled all over the North American continent. For you to assume otherwise makes you...well...I don't need to say it.

I actually have never watched a NASCAR event. Frankly, I have enough diplomas adorning my walls that I think I can understand what you are saying all too well. As an attorney, I understand international law and the UN and all of that...so you might want to get off that high horse of yours when speaking to people you don't know.

Never been...I have no interest. If I want to go to a casino, I go to Vegas where I can see some really good shows too...like Cirque du Soliel.

And the Austrailians, and the British, and every nation who doesn't have rich weapons and oil contracts with Saddam.

Perhaps it is YOU who doesn't understand. Perhaps possessing a passport doesn't make one a genius.

As a former soldier I feel insulted that you're listing someone like George W. Bush as a member of the armed forces. In the real military the leaders get promoted based on competence, not who their father is or how much money they can spend on a campaign or how many opposition party they can get their brother to disqualify from voting. Bush couldn't even hack it in the national guard, let alone the real military.

    Thanks, drive through.

I'm a former soldier too and shame on you for not recognizing the CINC as a soldier.
