you know a thread on oral sex that includes a reference to spinal tap, should also include the classic love ballad "Lick My Love Pump."
In another news ... Women bi into sex ... options http://www.nydailynews.com/front/story/346940p-296019c.html Study sees big upswing BY DEREK ROSE DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER The government has taken its biggest-ever peek into America's bedrooms - and found that women have become more sexually adventurous than ever. One in seven young women confides she has had a sexual encounter with another woman, a striking rise from past studies, federal researchers said. "That was surprising to us," said study author William Mosher, a statistician with the National Center for Health Statistics. "The previous studies had not shown as much." The survey found that among women 18 to 29, 14% - or one in seven - say they've had a "sexual experience" with another woman, although it didn't define the term. Just 4% of women that age said they had had their same-sex encounter in the past 12 months, suggesting the women had been experimenting, Mosher said. In another sign of the bisexual times, 10% of women say they're at least somewhat attracted to other women, up from 3% a decade earlier. Among men, 6% of guys aged 18 to 29 say they've had sex with a man, a proportion that hasn't changed in recent years. Two hundred female researchers surveyed 12,571 men and women aged 15 to 44 in person during 2002 and 2003 for the study. Minors were interviewed with their parents' written permission; survey participants entered their answers on a laptop computer for privacy. "This is the first time that we have had a nationally representative screen that has covered some of these basic issues of sexual behavior since 1992," Mosher said. And that 1992 survey questioned just 3,300 people, all women aged 18-44. Just 4% of those women said they'd ever had a same-sex sexual encounter. Mosher said women may be having more same-sex encounters to avoid pregnancy and disease, but others said it has simply been in vogue. "It's very safe in the academic community; no one thinks anything of it," Elayne Rapping, a professor of American studies at the University of Buffalo, told The Associated Press. "But to some extent there's more talk than action." Bisexuality has become a "badge of courage" for some college women - even those who date only men - while men who have sex with men are less likely to talk about it, Rapping said. The study also confirmed the popularity of oral sex among teenagers, with nearly 40% of both 16-year-old boys and girls saying they've received oral sex. Among teens who are virgins, 16% of boys and 21% of girls who said they are holding out for religious or moral reasons admitted to having had oral sex. Originally published on September 15, 2005
I think this definately has something to do with it. There are a couple of cable shows like the "L Word" and even on network TV they're showing women kissing. Go to any nightclub and you see women dancing with women much more often than seeing men dancing with men. Open displays of Lesbianism and female bisexuality is considered cool and hip while gay men are celebrated for their fashion sense but not open displays of affection or sexuality.
its in vogue and also its an activity that men encourage and is somewhat accepted. so its basically all those things.
You can't get a girl pregnant from a oral sex, unless you're on a roller coaster... Maybe the thinking is, I rather risk STDs, than have lil Kam(s) running around. We don't really need that. That quote saying many middle and upperclass white (female?) students don't consider it a big thing is true. This is a good thread, but we need pictures.
