Seriously guys, I don't see how any of these studies could ever be taken seriously, especially when we all know that teenagers boast about 'sex', even when most of them have never experienced it. I just don't buy much into this "50% have had oral/intercourse" or whatever else.

Not surprising at all. I've been out of high school for 8 years and I'm sure the percentage was at least 50% back then.

I thought oral was 2nd base? You know, they've never done a very good job of explaining all the bases. The only one that is clear is when you score.
There ARE risks. Herpes, Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, Chlamydia and even HIV. Of course, if your partner has these you are SOL anyway.
When I was in HS, 10 years ago, I don't think I knew anybody who wasn't having sex or oral sex. I got my first BJ in 9th grade.
The problem is that many teens are under the false impression that oral sex is much safer than other types of sex. When that's not the case.
