It would have been great to have added him to the second unit of the Rockets. That unit would have been a very athletic. Bench scoring would not have suffered, in fact it could have increased.
Rockets still need another 7ft C that can defend, rebound, and is physical if they are serious about this upcoming season and making the playoffs.
A 7 footer would be great but any front court help will do. It would be a committee of players that would take turns in filling in for Yao.
