    GET EM BLATZ!!!! :D

Cant tell you how many times I had to post somethign similar during the season for the clips..

Its a real shame folks cant be bothered to help ou tthere fellow members.

now...a little good news for those that have hazy memories of the greatness of Dream....It looks like there may be a torrent coming up of a extended Dream video...keep an eye out for it...

oh...and for the record...Amare isnt even in the same class as Dream on the defensive end...the video Im talking about has many clips of Dream rising up and blocking stuff out of nowhere...and doing it multiple times in a row....the kid may be pretty good...but I just dont see the same desire and ability level as Dream had early in his career...I remember seeing him in the first few years in the league....he couldnt have been more than a year or so older than Amare is right now...and his ability far surpasses the pretender to Dream;s throne..

end of subject....you kids that think Amre is some sort of god can just drop it...THERE IS NO COMPARISON

Whoever made those videos… that was simply awesome. For someone like me who was not old enough to pay attention to basketball when I was 6 or 7, thanks for showing me what an unreal player dream was. Jesus,, the dunks he had were ferocious and the way he would run the floor with the ball and dunk when he was young... you just don't see stuff like that anymore.

Thanks for making the workday that much better for us all.

Edit: Did you check the links on this page? I clicked on couple and they are still working.

Good God, its enough to bring a tear to your eye, i could just watch dream play all day and night for days on end. He was so quick, got up so fast he blocked a fade away jumper before it left Ewing's hand. That move he put on Bradley was just filthy, brought back memories. His hands were so incredibly soft yet quick. Amazing court vision and timing. That was back in the day when people really played hard on defense. There are very few players in the league today that understand defense like that man.

Thanks so much for posting that.

This is all just way too beautiful... I will post some links after I am done downloading...

Now about the only other thing I could fantasize about getting someday would be a copy of that Coogs-Louisville game in '83, which to my admittedly biased mind will always be the true championship game that year (I love you, Guy V., but damn... your second half coaching in the NEXT game.... the scars are still tender...)

Once upon a time there were some folks who were going to make copies for people like me, but I'm not sure what happened to that... I would happily pay for such a thing... that is probably the single greatest game I ever experienced, as opposed to a series...

p.s. -- hours later, I am still waiting for the dream file to upload... this is my first time doing this, I didn't know it would take so long... it's coming, though...

Same here. But Guy V has taken way too much blame for the second half performance of that team, and it has ridiculously kept him out of the HOF.

He's said many times that Dream couldn't breathe, Drexler kept asking to come out and the one thing he faults himself for is not realizing that the Louisville game had worn the team out. We missed a ridiculous amount of free throws on the front half of 1&1's (when Franklin missed his I knew we were in trouble) and Guy V just couldn't control that.

No one will ever be able to understand how that team didn't win the championship, but it's had an absolutely stupid effect on the way the bb world looks at him and what he did in his career.
