Other times not so much. The point is that this BBS is MILD compared to others out there where ya' getcha leg broke if ya outta line. As for the post you mentioned, whatever he wants to say is fine. This is a free BBS. Fire away. I can take it. I assume he was also referring to my column, but whatever. The fact that he has only a few posts serves to make my point even more. For those of us who have been around this BBS for a couple of years (or even those who have joined this year but have been very active), the rules are pretty clear: don't like what I say? Prove me wrong or disagree. I, for one, appreciate that and am ALWAYS the first to admit he is wrong no matter what the source or situation. If people feel the Admins are cliquesh, that isn't my problem. I have done nothing but be honest and fair in all my posts. Just because I believe something doesn't mean you have to agree. And, as for the Hangout vs. the Roster forum, huh? I've been around this BBS since it started. Long before a BBS hangout existed, I was debating the merits of playing and coaching and players in this forum. To say that I have no right to come into another forum and express my opinion how I see fit is bizarre and reactionary. Just because I don't post here as often as in the Hangout doesn't mean I don't pay attention. Half the time, the posts in here get so fast and furious with quite a few not worth responding to either because I have nothing to say or they are redundant, that I can't keep up. I can't always keep up with them and don't always want to. So, your point is that I cannot be who I am in this forum but I can somewhere else? And, what do you mean not backing up my statements with facts? First off, both my wife and I were journalism majors and I have quite a few friends in both the broadcast and print media. Anyone who knows the business knows what I'm talking about. I made my points based on the information out there, not based on some all-knowing, self righteous ego trip. So, like it or not, agree with it or not, the BBS is what it is and I'm not going to be someone else for the benefit or anyone. That would not only be silly but it would be dishonest. If you don't like it, feel free to disagree or prove me wrong. That's what this board is all about - freely expressing our opinions. or am I wrong? ------------------ Mmmmmmm. Sacrelicious.
