If you read Vescey's columns, he always has these types of jokes at the end of his columns. As hated as the guy is, I have to admit he is pretty funny. ESPN just got suckered.
The thing about Hakeem is, he would be a bad assistant coach or scout or anythign like that. What he would be excellent at would be head coach or in charge of personnel (trades n stuff). I think he can be very succesful as a head coach. He's won championships, he knows what it takes, he knows how much effort to expect, and his demeanour is taylor-made for ebing a head coach.
