I was reading the other thread about the Rockets bringing in Dale Davis in and saw Hakeem at the game yesterday. I imagined him in a new Rockets uniform and wonder if he would ever come back to play. I dont know what type of shape he is in but know that he plaued recently at Calvin Murphys charity game. Did anyone see if he still had a little game left? What if he did? What if the city of Houston begged him to play with us....just for the playoffs. I know Im dreaming but it was great to see him again yesterday on the court. I know Ill probably get bashed...but so what.... I can dream cant I!
No worries.I posted this a week ago 90 % tongue in cheek and of course people jumped to conclusions without taking it in.It was right after Yao went down and folks were pissed.Honestly he could probably give us 10 - 15 min. from here on in.....but he wouldn't for a myriad of reasons. Can you imagine what it would be like though if the Rockets and Dream actually got together on this...what a story it would be if we won it all with him on the roster.
A sad one that would probably help taint his legacy. Sorry, I don't think he has anything left to give, physically speaking. He was already running out of gas toward the end of his career, much less right now.
The thing is he doesn't have any wear and tear on him as he's been out for a long time. And like rsx_htown mention he HAS been working out hard recently.......At the very least it's fun to DREAM..... Right now though we just need to stay fockassed and take care of business.
Yeah..the lakers are talking to Wilt Chamberlain about coming out of retirement...since they have 3 of there big me out. STFU AND GTFO. No you cannot dream.
Shove it up your a$$ and lighten up you insolent child....Ever heard of levity. We're riding a 22 game winning streak and everyone's happy.Your out of line.
Did anyone already ask Morey on one of his guest radio talk shows about Hakeem? I'd be curious to know his response.
