Well, I dont wanna get into a pissing match here, but, if salary cap isnt the issue, then there is no issue, if you watched the Rockets last season, Hakeem didnt play that many minutes, and even if he does, he can only help the team, I really dont see how he is hurting, and lastly, Cato didnt WANT to start last year, so, bottom line is we can use as many big men as we can get, reagardless of there numbers, thats just a fact, I mean, I would rather have Hakeem instead of Pig, fact is, he isnt going anywhere and I dont see how he could hurt the team

I can understand how Anderson would not in the top 20, although i do not necessarily agree.

SG, this does stand for Shooting Guards, and typical in these ranking things SG are rank based on their offensive output, which is points, and as far as just scoring points goes Anderson wouldn't be in the top 20.

Bryant Reeves! ... LOL ...now that's funny. LOL... No way...no how...no day. Same for those other 2.

Though at this point, I'd rank Dickerson above Mobely but not Anderson. Smeg's right ... they are just looking at the points.

TB3, Did you think Barkley needed to retire before last year too? He was a shell of his former self as well. I don't remember a lot of posts calling for his retirement. If you did, I stand corrected. If not think about the statement you seem intent on making about Dream. Like it has been said by others, Dream at 50% is still better than 75% of the players on that list. I guarantee you most of those guys don't rate the respect from officials or players in the league.

Big Country Reeves is in the top 20 ???
    Francis is a better C than him...actully
maybe even Mugsey Bogues is better center than Reeves
honestly ,Reeves might be the most horrible Center in the league today.

    Dan Lederman

If Hakeem can't breathe he isn't even the third best center on our team. So far I haven't heard any definite proof that Dream's condition is any better than last year. Obviously if he can breathe then he is a top 10 center, they are probably just going on what happened last year.
I must be an idiot because I do see Dickerson as a better over-all player than Mobley. I am a huge supporter of Mobley an his offensive game. But Mobley is a poor defender & rebounder. Dickerson may not have quite the offensive game of Mobley but his is a solid all around player.
Anderson always has been and always will be underrated just because he doesn't score much, & doesn't talk much.
Also Andre Miller had a nice year last year. No he doesn't have the upside of Stevie and I would have Stevie ranked higher but I don't think it is too serious of crime to rank Miller that high [IMG]

Also did Cato finally surpass Shaq as the top center in the league in the poll? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

TB3 Unfortunately, our love for Hakeem on a personal level does not mask the fact that Dream is not a part of our future plans, and he is damaging the memory of his greatness.

No, Your memory of Hakeems greatness is withering away by fantasizing about Chris Webber, Glenn Robinson, and Michael Dickersons glory days.

Hey guys, don't let it get to you. This way, we can sneak up on everyone as the underdog. When we win it all (by just being lucky), they can snub us again just like SI did the first time we did.

I agree that the jury is still out on Dream until the season begins, but making a negative judgement on the best center in basketball, that had one bad year due to a health condition, is just plain stupid.

While Dickerson does tend to have a better game than Cat, no way is he better than Shandon. Defense wins games & Shandon proved that he can & will light it up offensively.

As far as Francis being the fifth best point guard, by the end of last year, he was out doing or holding his own against any point guard out there. This year he makes a run at topping the best point guard in Gary Payton. My money is on Steve.

Should we even attempt to correct these idiots by bombarding them with e-mails???
