    I can't think of what's a worse tragedy: Hakeem's mother's illness or DD's stinky imprint all over the thread.

    If it was something overheard or picked up in a private conversation, then I think it should be treated as a personal matter and we should respect his privacy. But if this news was announced publicly at his mosque with him in attendance, then I don't really have a problem with this thread.

    it was announced publicly after prayers at the mosque in order to get others to pray for dream's mother.

    But yeah, if it was publicly announced then nobody is at fault.
