4 trillion dollar tax hike coming out of a pandemic? Sure, it'll only effect higher income families, but those are the engines of the economy because they are the ones with the cash to spend. It will also hurt those businesses trying to recover and result in fewer employees getting their jobs back. Personally, I would wait a couple years before any tax hike to allow for a stronger recovery.
