She looked hot on her Mirrorball DVD (yes, I am a huge fan and own her Mirrorball DVD) as well as in some of her videos (Adia, VOX, Building a Mystery)
Thanks to James Quintong (yes, THE James Quintong ) and the fact that my iPod is larger than my mp3 collection, I carry this around with me: Love Will Keep Us Together -- Captain and Tennille The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia -- Vicky Lawrence Copacabana -- Barry Manilow Fish Heads -- Barnes & Barnes Pac-Man Fever -- Buckner & Garcia Most of the rest of the stuff on that mix CD was more geeky (Fear of Pop f/William Shatner, Camper Van Beethoven, a tribute to Alyson Hannigan) or weird (King Missile, Hayseed Dixie, Eric Cartman*'s "Come Sail Away") or just sucky** (Wesley Willis, Baha Men). * originally typed as "Eric Carmen" -- a subconscious typo if I've ever seen one ** No denigration of anyone's tastes in music should be implied.
4 words, spoil me RIGHT SAID FRED - UP yes i have the whole cd and still like a listen every now and then
I have a video of them playing in a packed Wembley (sp?)Stadium. That's what I was going by. 3fingeredgus, type "Mark King bass" in Google. Also, if you're going to download any Level 42, download any live tune. They're one of those bands you can't really get unless you hear them live, ala DMB.
Great Stuff Anti If i could be bothered (maybe when i get home) i would photoshop you head on Belinda Carlisle's body not sure if this is wuss or not but have always had a soft spot for the tune with these lyrics it's a rainy agernoon in 1990 the big city geez it been 20 years- candy-you were so fine beautiful beautiful girl from the north you burned my hear with a flickering torch i had a dream that no one else could see you gave me love for free chorus: candy candy candy i can't let you go all my life you're haunting me i loved you to candy candy candy i can't let you go life is crazy candy baby Kate: yeah, well it hurt me real bad when you left i'm glad you got out but i miss you i've had a hole in my heart for so long i've learned to fake it and just smile along down on the street those men are all the same i need a love not games not games
Even though he looks like he's been run over a few hundred times, Iggy Pop is not wuss! That is a good song. Nice call! Jesse Cook is also a great "wuss" musician. He plays a great jazz/flamenco guitar.
3 excellent choices, especially the third one, which I consider to be one of MJ's greatest and most underrated songs of all time. I've probably listened and forced others to listen to it literally thousands of times and it has yet to get old. Doesn't hurt that the video is a laugh riot with MJ and LP "comingling" while nude. Always good for a chuckle.
