You and esteban look pretty good together. LOL. Let's check out a rimrocker thread taken at random from the 1st page of D&D (the new kind of politics: really, is making fun of basso) Senate thread So he posts an intro to the topic of discussing the senate races, then an article. But then he keeps posting (see posts 16 and 17 from the first page of the thread... very reasonable, if opinionated). And look at the flipping title. It's not something like "That's Not Senate Races We Can Believe In." LOL.

Discussion in the D&D isn't for conservatives. We get flamed in here for everything. Its almost like when a liberal calls into the Mark Levin show, and gets called an idiot before they even speak (I actually hate his radio show). I do wish Basso would start writing things though. The only thing that can change the way it is, is to have more conservatives start speaking their minds in here.
Discussion isn't for conservatives here by their own choice. If you look back, you'll find threads where posters here have applauded basso and others for starting reasoned, well thought out threads about various topics... and yes, even with a conservative slant! There is a big difference between music and noise... I may not like the tune, but I can appreciate a well crafted song.
I've only been posting in here for the last few months, but I haven't seen much of that. Threads on moral issues seem to have the best discussions in here. It is an Obama love fest in here, and I guess that is what has been annoying. There are a number of posters in here that I enjoy reading what they post.
I think that's being extremely generous. Most of the responses to basso's threads are straight attacks on basso himself.
For the record, I only "copy and paste." I would never "cut" because that would be altering someone else's work, which is almost as bad as claiming it for yourself. And by the way, how come I haven't seen you or TJ or basso post much in any of the recent economic threads?
I have, but I'm starting to get equally fed up with people who aknowledge him and go so far as to start threads about him in here.
I agree with this statement. And you, when you're conservative, and weslinder, and Refman, et alia, definitely do use evidence in your points. However, as for attacks, if someone keeps farting in public, after you've described why farting in public is not a positive or useful thing for others, you start to say something pretty direct. You start to post FAIL pictures and jokes, and pictures of cute cats -- anything to distract from the smell. Oski's solution makes sense to me: just move away from the person. Let them fart in their own airspace. So in the end, i'm kind of ashamed of myself for piling on. Will henceforth hold my nose and move on. I did just try some positive reinforcement in another new thread of his...
so, in another thread you used peeing in your description of me, here it's farts, and yet in each, you have the temerity to criticize my posts?
Yes, I think he does. But look on the bright side... at least he didn't impugn your patriotism or suggest you hate our troops or imply that you favor defeat for America.
Not disagreeing, just pointing out that at least recently there as much substance from the anti-basso side as was alleged. I think we're on the same page.
That's correct, except I was not describing you. I was describing behaviors, via analogy. I don't see a problem in my use of analogies today, unless dainty readers, or those prone to "high hat" syndrome, are put off. Or, if anyone is confused, let me be very clear. Read my keystrokes: I am not saying that basso actually farts in public or pees in anyone's sock drawer. It must be something about my current slate of pet issues at home. edit: I should also point out that I don't cut/edit/paste infantile scatalogical analogies from other websites and post them here for my content. I really come up with this amazing material myself.
