That's actually only true if the player gets fouled before he inbounds the ball. After he throws the ball in, he's no longer protected.
Maybe we can get the fans involved. After Dwight throws the ball in, he runs into the stands and the fans form a barrier so that he cannot be fouled.
it's all mental if dwight feel he can make it in the came he should just stand there and let them foul then walk to the free throw line knock them down like in his practice if he keep doing that opponent will not use it
I think once the team is in the bonus, any intentional foul should be 1 free throw + possession. Teams can hack-a-Dwight until they collect their 5th team foul. This keeps the strategy in place for teams that want to use it, but has consequences if a team overdoes it like the Denver game the other night.
This is reminiscent of the "Flying V" from mighty ducks. Just have to hope we don't run into Iceland any time soon.
Dude...Harden and Parsons are going to either break their backs and/or have spinal cord damage while missing the rest of the season.
This is why we need to keep Asik. Just stack Howard on top of Asik... Not sure if Hack-an-Asik is better than Hack-a-Howard
I like the three point idea, and blocking for him. Form a circle and escort him down the court. Maybe hold hands and sing Kumbaya.
Have Harden or another Rockets player jump in between to pick up the foul or "attempt" a 3 point shot. I've seen Harden take those long shots but it was either too early or too late.
