Then there's the classic Marvin "Bad New" Barnes story when he hesitated on climbing aboard a short team flight from East to West. The departure time was 7:40 AM and the arrival was 7:35 AM. Marvin didn't want to "get on no time machine" and had to be reassured about the safety. I believe that the source of this story was Bob Costas then play-by-play guy for The Spirits of St. Louis. The story is found in "Loose Balls" by Terry Pluto-- a great read on the ABA. A similar goofy story is told about a phenom playing winter ball in the Domincan League. When the season was over, he was packing to go back to the US. He appeared to be leaving behind his television set. The roomie asked him about it. His reply: "Heck yes. That thing only gets Spanish stations...."
Am i mistaken...or do we have a Bulls troll in here? I can understand a Bulls fan cruising NBA sites, but trolling? What is there about the Bulls that is troll-able? Too funny. Bulls trolls...heres a tip. Pick up Derrick Dial. With Derrick and your roster of maybes and probables the Bulls may be news-worthy in a couple years. Bulls trolls, how cute!
Me? please. anyone who thinks Baron Davis is "equal to Steve Francis but is a better defender" has got to have a screw loose. remember when you said that? oh thats right, i'm a mental midget because I gave an example of why i disagreed with you and you didn't like it, and instead of a refute you just called me a 2 year old...very cool. or, are you just standing up for your buddy gettinbranded, a well known bulls troll on this board. either way your substitutions of facts with insults shows who the mental midget is.
