Wow. For the record, no, you shouldn't feel bad. I don't think that there is anything wrong with throwing a girl to the ground while she is attacking you. I do think it's wrong to hit a girl...regardless of what she is doing. Throw her down and get out of there if she is being physical with you. You are stronger. No need to hit them

On a side note, mwloo or whatever his name is might be the most annoying poster on the bbs. bravo, kid

Actually, if you only let one of her punches connect.. you could sue her or at least get her to jail and gotten what she deserved.

You did the right thing tho.. I would've gone matrix on her.

So if she was black, knock her out.

If she was white and hawt, get her digits. (trying to hurt you be damned) "Kick my ass all day if you want, but gimme them digits when you are done." Hilarious!

But what if she was black and hawt? HA, who are we kidding!

Let me be perfectly honest here. I never pass up the opportunity to smack a b****. Especially if she is being naughty.

All you did was stop her from punching you. You have the absolute right to not have people hitting you in the face. You feel bad about not getting hit in the face? Seems odd.

    W.W.B.D.?

Self defense? Yes as a last resort
    Ego defense? No never

It probably would have been funnier to bob and weave, and frustrate her and laugh at her and maybe maneuver her into the pool. But violence just begats violence. Now you have to be watching out for her big brother to cap yo' ass for the sake of family honor.

I think it can be lame sometimes. Sometimes you're in the mood for the small group of friends thing and sometimes you're in the mood to see a lot of people and have something to look at.

    baller,
was this the settlers cabin wave pool? were you the guy stealing peoples purses? ;)

no wonder she tried to hit you... :D

Wave pools are a breeding ground for pittsburgh trash...but I still love going to a wave pool. I think I'll head down to SandCastle!!!

Haha, Yes it was Settler's Cabin.

Funny you mention the purses, we were there on Monday too when all purses were stolen. Some teary eyed 16-year-old girl came up to us and was like "OMG, somebody stole my bag. Did you see anybody over in that area? I had my phone, my iPod, a portable DVD player and my wallet in that bag!"

What kind of moron brings a bag full of valuables into a wave pool? It's one thing if you make it a point to always have somebody there watching your stuff, but to just leave it all there unattended? That's beyond idiotic.

But yeah, it's almost entirely trash at wave pools anymore. I hear ya on Sandcastle -- I had the season pass when I was still in school but ever since I graduated I moved back home and live on the opposite end of Pittsburgh. To Sandcastle and back would almost be a tank of gas alone.

what do you mean? you don't like to leave $750 worth of stuff unattended at a public place?

    morans...

we have the sandcastle season pass (me, wife, 2 year old). Its a really good deal, and you don't feel bad going for an hour or so, since its already paid for. Its only about 10 miles from my place, though.

Well, I can't remember the last time we had to dodge punches from a girl at our pool, so I'll take it. :D

BTW, you did the right thing, IMO.
