i use to go to sactown often and i can understand. everyone's killing each other there: ALL THE RACES. he's just saying, the girl just happens to be black. i have no doubt he'd knock out a white ghetto girl just the same. his mistake is starting a sentence with "i'm not racist but..."

I love to tell my friends, "Quit trying to be black" The black i use refers to all the negative things in life. This includes poverty and aids. I give props to you guys. You know what, I sincerely hope you get your life together. Being a racist is bad for everybody. It shows your weakness and fear. Just like hitting a girl. It also makes the world a worse place. You have no control over other people, only yourself.
I think if you live in a melting pot like Houston and therefore have a plethora of interactions with people of all kinds, then you have the right to generalize based on those experiences. It's a natural, basic survival skill that we all use whether we share it on a message board or not. That in and of itself does not make anyone racist.
I just read this thread in its entirety, and I'm fairly certain I didn't see one single reason for why it's not OK to hit a woman. It's completely and totally sexist for anyone to say that they wouldn't hit a woman in an identical situation in which they would hit a man. Is it because women, in general, are smaller than men? In which case you should knock the hell out of the 5-2, 100lb man that's taking swings at you, but don't you dare touch that 6-2, 225lb Amazon that's doing the same. If you'd hit a man for some reason, you should hit a woman too. I don't condone the act unless there's no other option, but gender shouldn't be a reason to not wreck someone's ****.

They want equality, they got equality. Look, if someone takes a swing at me, regardless of gender they have to know that i won't sit idly by and just twittle my thumbs. Dude...I live in Pittsburgh. On scorching hot days like this you either have your own pool (lame), go to a country club (expensive) or go to a wave pool or some other form of public pool. Unless, of course you're brave enough to take a swim in one of our disease-infested, polluted rivers. Truth be told, the wave pool generally is fun. Hang out with friends, plenty of girls to look at, cheap....there's just the drawbacks of the HS crowds, the trashy crowds and the up-to-no-good crowds that come with it.
Clutchfans needs to lighten up? When a board full of people willing to talk about their bowel movements tells you you're making stupid posts, you should probably heed their advice.
