I was doing a rotation at a hospital once and a guy had tried to commit suicide by putting a gun underneath his chin. Only problem was that when he pulled the trigger, he also changed the angulation of the gun...instead of hitting his brains, he shot off his face. So, when I saw him in bed, he had one eye that was functioning normally and looking around, while there was a huge hole where the rest of his face used to be. Probably the most effed up thing Ive ever seen...dont know if he made it, but he was definitely aware and conscious at the time. Btw, this video was difficult to watch...fml. Scary stuff.
Not at all. I am too. The quality of his life after that accident would have been awful. If anything, I'm sad that he didn't die on impact.
I know quite a few humans for whom it is the other way around. What a terrible accident. I wasn't a huge risker taker before seeing that, but I will definitely think twice before cliff jumping/diving again. Even when being relatively safe, one small slip could get you in big trouble. Sounds a lot like life in general.
Horrible, absolutely horrible If you all were able to watch that, this is another one similar but just not a human, it gets pretty sad 45 seconds in http://www.peta.org/feat/ChineseFurFarms/index.asp
Holy hell...I can watch the human one...but this one, I had to shut off half way through. Thats just too cruel. Wow.
Meh, that's nothing, but... I don't know what that has to do with "Guy Splits Face Open." Lil Pun, I believe they are MINK, then WOLVES, then Ferrets, no?
yeah I can easily watch the human one. This thing is horrible and sad. Just depressing. I didn't stop watching cause I was grossed out, but because it made me feel sad, and I think you'd have to be depraved to want to keep watching it.
Yeah it actually affected me for a couple days and couldn't stop thinking about it; it's just sad because the human one was so horrible but people were trying to save him.. in this one people are putting them through it in the first place
The question I have in regards to the fur. I understand the need to skin the animals, but whey do they not at least kill them some decent way and then do their business?
No doubt. I stopped watching myself because it just made me feel extremely sad. I could watch the human one, but I did not have the stomach to finish watching this one.
Ugh, that's so incredibly cruel. What kind of man does something like that while sitting and laughing around with his other 'work buddies'. Watching that still-live skinned racoon trying to look over his stripped body before falling over in pain/exhaustion was heart-wrenching. I know PETA goes to the extreme in a lot of cases, but when you see stuff like this you can see why.
I think I've seen that picture. Unless it was a different guy who also had that happen to him. They showed us the picture before we did our ambulance rotation.
depressing to say the least..... i think the feeling is definitely amplified if u have a dog or cat. man, stuff like this makes me wish i wasn't asian. damn it chinese people. WHY!????
i watched it, and i'm grossed out, but i'm also very surprised how he was still alive. his face literally was split down the middle. ugghhhh.... it was ****ing disgusting. yuck. no, i won't be jumping off anything.
