I just got the system Friday night. I haven't even signed on to X-Box live. But the profile, which might be the same thing is Spike 929. I can guarantee you that I will not be a challenge for you in a head to head battle. This weekend was the first time I've ever played the game except at a friends or a few minutes on a store demo. I'm almost finished with the game on medium level. I can't seem to beat the devil quite yet though.
Soooooo "Raining Blood" can kiss my ass. ugh. thats all that stands between me and the Devil on expert.
Is it that much more difficult on Expert than on Hard? Oddly enough, all the complaints I have seen so far for that song were on Hard difficulty. So I wondered if it was really that much of a challenge on that one, they couldn't possibly have ramped it up that much in Expert, or it would be impossible. Edit: Due to increased hours on me at work, I've barely been able to play this game much. I am still a tier or 2 away from Lou on Medium. I now regret starting this game on Medium since not having the Orange button in play is freaking boring. Funny how things change. When I first started playing, my attitude was "**** that Orange button" because I found it so difficult to stretch my finger out there or to get used to shifting my hand. Now I get bored without it. I really should go back and finish GH2 on Expert...but it is hard to get motivated for Hangar 18 on Expert when it was kicking my ass so hard. Plus, GH3 is a lot newer now.
Question..While I got Guitar Hero III, I just heard about Rock Band...Will it be better? sorry to derail but it costs $170 vs. the $100 for this, but it comes with some drums and a microphone...I'm sure the song list is inferior, but it sounds like a good deal...
the setlist is decent. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rock_Band_(video_game)#Main_setlist i think rock band has more potential than the gh series.
This is the only reason I need to buy Rock Band. Edit: Listen to the words on the video on that link. ****ing outstanding.
There is one particular extremely hard part in the song, and on expert they just happen to raise the difficulty on that part. "One" is probably the new Hangar 18 though, you'll love it until you get toward the end. Oh and Rock Band has a Fall Out Boy song on the setlist. Guh-Rossss.
Rockband will fail because of the weak setlist. So what that I get to play the drums, who wants to play the drums to some crappy songs.
