    Kudos to this 54yr old man for getting this record! I don't know how much he weighs but he looks like a bulldozer, you would think he would be a lot thinner since the record entails lifting your own weight, but obviously it's more about mind over matter or what is commonly known as pure determination! It's amazing what we are capable of doing once we set our minds to do it!

    I'm impressed by how many people can do 20+ pull-ups!
    I definitely belong in the 1-5 range, although I must confess I cheat and only use one hand!...:p

    interesting method, he does 3-4 at a time with a small break in between. any training gurus out there could explain physiologically how this works as far as muscle fatigue?

    No problem. His muscles get less tired when he does a few at a time and takes breaks in between sets.
